Extremely poor value for money. Poor service. Very disappointing. Not recommended.
On a visit for afternoon tea, I received a single portion plate to share with my friend. When I made a subsequent complaint the manager admitted that this was a ‘mistake’ and the portions should have been doubled. The plate cost €110 Euro. I was offered a ‘free glass of bubbly’ the next time I visited. I should have been offered a refund or credit note. Very disappointed - most definitely not 5 * food or service. Would not recommend at all.

Five star welcome at this beautiful hotel!
A huge thank you to the wonderful Anna and her team who made our wedding anniversary getaway a truly exceptional experience! The Fáilte began a week before our arrival w a thoughtful call from Anna to say they were looking forward to having us stay. A late arrival due to traffic could have resulted w us losing our spa bookings. But Anna and spa staff called us to tell us to take our time and they would rearrange the times for us. Food was fabulous and Nothing was too much for the staff. Comfort, luxury, food, atmosphere. It’s wonderfully located walking distance from the beautiful grounds of UCC and the glucksman gallery and a short stroll into town. Staff so helpful at recommending places/bars/restaurants to visit. It’s no wonder Hayfield is a 5 star venue when staff are also 5 star! Thank you!

Absolutely amazing stay! The staff were incredible—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Every interaction felt warm and effortless. It truly felt like a fab 5-star experience in every way. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect Spa Day
I visited the spa and was booked in for The Biome Repair Facial. The spa manager Sarah was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when making my booking as to what treatment would suit me. My therapist Karen who did the treatment was excellent, she talked me through the whole treatment and made me feel extremely comfortable as someone who has never had a spa treatment before. I came out of it feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Would highly recommend for people going solo or with others!

My Mam & myself had Mothers Day Brunch in the Bloom Room & it was such a relaxing, friendly & wonderful experience. The staff couldn’t be more helpful & nothing was a problem & always with a smile. Absolutely loved our special day 🙏🥰
