Very smiling and attentive staff. Stayed just for one night but we did not eat at the hotel restaurant. The breakfast was the best ever experience ! Highly recommended. The bar has a lot of character and the fire places in the lobby and bar areas bring a very warm atmosphere. Our bedroom was large and well equipped but could used updated decoration. On the downside, the double bed was not up to the standard of a five star hotel (felt too much like two single beds put together and dipping) and it would be nice to have a proper expresso machine.

Wow! What a great hotel! We found out about this hotel through the Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts. The staff were so kind and accommodating. The benefits through Amex were as advertised. If you go to Cork and have the opportunity to stay anywhere, this is the place. It’s ranked the best on TripAdvisdor in Cork from what we see at the time of this review. When you arrive, you will see why. We booked an upgraded room that was very spacious facing the courtyard. And most importantly, the room was very clean. There is an aviary onsite with different birds. They also have some very old trees in the front with some history behind them. The restaurants are very nice on site. We recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we ever returned. Thanks for a great stay.

Stayed in Hayfield Manor for the weekend. This hotel is a true five star hotel. The staff are excellent. Hotel is exceptional and the service is incredible. We had a beautiful room overlooking the courtyard. The hotel is luxury with a capital L. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel. We had dinner on Saturday evening And we’re served by a delightful waitress. The food was excellent. The wine choice was sensational. Excellent. The bartenders were exceptional. The cocktails were fantastic. What can I tell you? Has to be to do list if you’re visiting Cork show the management team of Hayfield Manor, it’s clear and exceptional thank you to you and all your stuff. What a fantastic weekend. Can’t wait to get back. See you guys very soon. I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world and this is certainly all of the best.

Myself and my husband stayed in Hayfield for one Sunday night at the end of April. We had both booked Monday off work and just wanted to switch off and recharge after a hectic few weeks. We had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff are so welcoming and their service is second to none. We enjoyed a cocktail in the beautiful outside bar before checking in. Then we tried out the outdoor hot tub and steam room before enjoying an exquisite dinner in the Orchids Bar. If you like sweet desserts then I highly recommend the Baileys chocolate gateaux, it is divine! I also appreciated the little chocolate with the turn down service and our bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. The pool is open from 6.00a.m. so I had a quick dip and relaxed in the outdoor hot tub again before breakfast the next morning while my husband had a lie in. Breakfast has the best continental buffet selection we've ever seen with every possible taste catered to and there is a coffee and pastry station in reception if you have to go in a hurry. Check out is not until 12.00 so we had plenty of time to relax in our room afterwards. Overall we had a truly relaxing and luxurious stay in Hayfield and we'd highly recommend it. Life is short and it's important to make time for ourselves to relax reconnect.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us, very discreet and professional but with a human touch and a smile. Very comfortable room, delicious food and overall a very relaxing weekend. Loved it.
