My son and I recently visited the Hayfield and enjoyed every moment. The staff is caring and kind and it feels like a family! The rooms are large and comfortable. The food was exceptional and served deliciously hot. We had lunch one afternoon and we had spectacular soup and truly the best burger I have ever had! We enjoyed the hot tub, steam room and pool and used it multiple times. My son had a great massage treatment as well. Beautiful surroundings and located near the university, we walked there many times and enjoyed the serene setting and birdsong. I can’t say enough about our experience at the Hayfield ! We will be back soon! It was wonderful!

I have stayed several time here before so was disappointed to see the lack of the 5 star treatment . Our room was clean and lovely . We got our dressing gowns out to go to the spa . I expected these to be sprinkling white and soft . Instead we had a greyest hard gown . We went out to the jacuzzi and while there notice the the surround was unkept and dirty looking ,glass window not cleaned in a while, paint coming off pillers and furniture . There was a piece of chewing gum under one of the seats on the ground and was still there the next morning . We went then to the steam room to find hair in the drain . I went out to get someone but no one about . On the ceiling of the pool there is black mole ! Our dinning experience left me a bit cross . Our dinner was included in our package . When we were finished dinner ( which was only ok ) we left to go out to the bar at this stage the waitress said in a loud voice that we must pay . I explain that it was included and only then did she look it up . The following morning breakfast left me unimpressed . My husband order the full Irish when was as dull as the picture of it below . I tried some of the scones and as a baker myself can tell you there were not that days . Hard and lacked taste . I did mention this on check out and did get a email back . Overall I think the place has got complacent .

The hotel is spotless, the staff is friendly, and the dinner menu is varied, delicious, and beautifully presented, with piano accompaniment. Breakfast was just as delicious.

We stayed in Hayfield Manor Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I can hands down say it was the best hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment we stepped into we were treated to 5 star luxury. The staff were amazing so friendly and welcoming. The food was exquisite. We also had Spa treatments which were amazing and I had the best nights sleep after it. I highly recommend.
