Great experience and highly recommended !!
We stayed six nights in October after a 3 hour drive from Dublin. The hotel has its own fairly roomy downstairs on-site parking which is rare in hotels in Cork. This was a big plus even though there were delays entering due to sharing with a gym membership. The staff were very helpful and engaging and always greeted us with a smile . The majority of hotels we stayed in our visit throughout Ireland were central European where the River lee were mainly Irish and Cork which was nice. The hotel is a great location and either short cab ride or walk to the city center. My wife has us request a chang of rooms with a side student housing view to a more central overview of the western road and Sundays Well. Big shout out to Maeve from Glanmire in reception who could not be more helpful and welcoming every day of our stay. Maeve even came out to our car when we were leaving and made sure, we were on our way. We will never stay in any other hotel in Cork other than the River Lee. By the way I am Cork born while spending half my life in North America

Hotel is very good , ideally located , parking available, lovely breakfast, use of gym/pool next door ,would definitely book/recommend

Unknown person in my room while I slept
Someone entered my room as I was asleep…took belongings from my room, highlighted it to the staff…didn’t take it seriously. Didn’t receive any follow up or resolution

Beautiful hotel albeit the rooms need updating. Extremely comfortable and clean. Both staff and food fantastic. It's on the pricier side but would definitely stay again where possible.

Perfection!
The River Lee Hotel is magnificent!!! The staff can not do enough for you at any time of day or night. The hotel is gorgeous and all the amenities are all you could ever ask for. We will be back
