The River Club 5* August 2026 My Wife Daughter and I, called in for late Lunch on Sunday last, 09/08/26. Everything was as you would expect. Both our servers were first class. Well done 336, Francisco... You didn't see them until you needed something. Both were very knowledgeable about the menu . We had the Crab wrap, perfect... Chicken & waffles, Impressive... and a Daily special... You cannot find fault with anything... We will continue to enjoy the restaurant and look forward to our next visit. Well worth the Time Effort and Money.The River Clu

Construction Work Going On
Don’t expect a nice sleep or lie in here as there’s construction work going on from early morning. Like a jack hammer loud and vibrating the walls throughout the hotel. Might have been a better plan to schedule the louder works throughout the day and not morning? Don’t expect any understanding when you complain, told that it was in the fine print of the booking. Expected more from this hotel!

Great stay
I had a great stay at the hotel with family. The food and service was great. I went to the spa as well which was lovely. Maya working at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely come again.

Excellent Service
We had an amazing stay at the River Lee. Sharon was very warm and welcoming upon check in. She is such a friendly and helpful person. The breakfast was very nice, Costa was sitting us every day, he remembered our name after the first day and also checked in with us about our plans for the day and gave us recommendations. It just felt so friendly and familiar. Anne was outstanding too, she didn’t just took the order and served us , she also checked on us in between and made sure we have everything we need. When we had dinner in the River Club, the floor manager herself was looking after us. She was very kind and interested. We also enjoyed Dinner in the Grill Room and it was something else. Georgie was looking after us and I rarely saw someone that was so attentive and friendly. He asked about our plans, asked us for our preferences and gave recommendations, and all that while he was taking orders and served us. The Rooms are very nice and updated, especially if you book a room with Riverview. The service we received was impeccable. We had the impression everyone was genuine and wanted to make sure we had fantastic experience.

Really enjoyed staying here great sleep and great food only problem was car parking fee €15 per day
Very comfortable with air conditioning and breakfast was great. Only thing you have to pay for overnight car parking at €15 per night
