Reviews for Faloria Mountain Spa Resort

work law must be respected.

They do not respect workers. They want to exploit workers and make them work overtime without pay (they are exploitative and do not respect work laws) You have to carry all these heavy bags on your back . We must change we live in 2025

From the moment I arrived at Hotel Faloria Mountain Spa Resort, I knew I was in for something special. My room was simply perfect—spacious, with a huge bathroom, a wonderfully comfortable bed, and best of all, a breathtaking view over Monte Cristallo and the surrounding Dolomitic peaks. Waking up to that view every morning felt like a dream. The restaurant deserves a special mention. The food was outstanding—every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Mauro, the maitre, and his team strike the ideal balance between professionalism and warm hospitality. Their attention to detail and welcoming service made every meal an experience in itself. I was traveling with two guests from the U.S., both seasoned, expert travelers—and even they were genuinely impressed by the high standards of the hotel. They couldn’t stop praising the overall quality, with a special shoutout to the restaurant. They said it was among the best they’ve experienced in Europe. The entire team at Faloria—from the reception and room division to the breakfast and restaurant staff—is a credit to the hotel. Their friendliness, efficiency, and attention to detail truly reflect a 5-star level of service. If you're visiting Cortina, Hotel Spa Faloria is an absolute must. I can’t wait to return!

Hostel / Motel experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

2 of our friends arrived 10minutes later and did not receive the welcome drink when they joined us in the lobby so we asked, they accused us for asking for extra and said no at first - this is hilarious. We are talking about soda water here. Ate lunch at the restaurant and waited 80minutes for food. Ate dinner at the other restaurant and a server physically snatched a water bottle from my friend (water bottle from our room mind you). And scolded him for no outside food and drink. I’ve never seen that level of customer treatment anywhere. There is a long list of absolute atrocious service details I won’t delve into, but I’ve had more polite service at 1-2star motels backpacking or at hostels. This “resort” if you can even call it that, is a joke of an establishment.

The best spa hotel we have ever stayed at for a winter hiking holiday!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

A lovely hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo with really friendly & helpful staff. When choosing which hotel to stay at, we ended up with a shortlist of 3 hotels - however we chose Faloria as the swimming pool & spa area looked really nice....and it did not disappoint. The pool is half an olympic sized pool in length and was an absolute joy to swim in. In fact the whole spa area was brilliant and as per the title of this review, it was definitely the best spa hotel we have ever stayed at for a winter hiking holiday in Europe. Some hotel pools in ski resorts are just a waste of time, but the pool at the Faloria was amazing. The hotel is situated a couple of kilometres outside of Cortina d'Ampezzo but the hotel has a courtesy bus running to/from the lift stations and to/from the centre of town which was fine for us. Alternatively there is a cycle path which you can walk on to get to the centre of town - for a normal walker this takes about 30 mins. Parts of it are not lit so is a bit tricky at night but we did it and it was fine. It also felt really safe. The staff at the hotel were all excellent but a special mention should go to the lovely receptionist (green glasses, sorry I didn't know her name) who was really helpful with advising winter hiking routes each day. We booked a Deluxe Premium room as I thought the Classic rooms looked a bit small. The room was really nice - spacious and comfortable and also had a freestanding bath & good quality toiletries (Acqua di Parma). Cortina d'Ampezzo is an expensive resort, so if you want to stay at a 5 star hotel then you should expect to pay between £400-£500 per night for a decent room. The reason I have given this review 4 stars and not 5 stars is because we felt the breakfast could have been better. It was good but it wasn't amazing. For the price we paid, the selection should have been bigger, with better quality items on the buffet table. If you are looking for a really good hotel with a great pool and spa area, and don't mind being slightly out of the centre, then I would recommend the Faloria hotel.

A Luxurious Stay with Exceptional Service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

We stayed at the Faloria Mountain Spa Resort in Cortina d’Ampezzo for a week and it was truly special. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the warm and professional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable experience. All our requests were accommodated seamlessly. The staff at Faloria is outstanding, and Massimo deserves a special mention. He remembered our breakfast order every morning, ensuring our favorites were ready—especially the delicious walnut tart, which he kindly set aside for me. His attentiveness and genuine care made us feel like valued guests, and he is truly an asset to the Faloria team. The hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness throughout. Our room was spotless upon arrival, with fresh linens, a well-kept bathroom, and a tidy overall presentation. The common areas, including the spa and restaurant, were also meticulously maintained, adding to the sense of luxury. We booked a Premium Room, and while it was beautifully designed, we did find it a bit cramped for a premium category. The bed was very comfortable, with quality linens and supportive pillows, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom was stunning, with a spa-like design, excellent water pressure, and luxurious toiletries. However, one minor issue was the large patio umbrella, which partially obstructed the incredible view of the mountains and the 1956 ski jump from our Room 107—making it difficult to capture the perfect photo. While most of the amenities were great, the Wi-Fi wasn’t very reliable, which was frustrating—especially when my husband needed a stable connection for his business meeting. The spa and pool area were an absolute highlight. The indoor pool is fantastic for swimming laps, and the overall wellness facilities provide a truly relaxing escape after a day of skiing. Everything was impeccably maintained, and the atmosphere was pure tranquility. Faloria is not centrally located, but it’s also not too far from the heart of Cortina—a short 7 to 10-minute drive will get you to town. I actually appreciated the slight distance from the center—it made the resort feel more peaceful and secluded, which I loved. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the serenity of the alpine setting without the hustle and bustle of town. We dined at the hotel restaurant for two nights, and the food was exceptional. The bean and pasta soup was rich, hearty, and filling, the perfect comfort dish after a long day. And the spaghetti? Absolutely addictive—and that’s coming from someone who isn’t usually a fan of pasta! The restaurant delivers high-quality meals that truly enhance the overall stay. Faloria Mountain Spa Resort offers luxury, comfort, and outstanding service, making it a fantastic choice for those looking for a relaxing stay in Cortina d’Ampezzo. While the room was a bit tight for a premium category, the exceptional hospitality, top-notch spa, and delicious dining made up for it. Highly recommended!
