About the Hotel

Adare Manor is a neo-Gothic architectural masterpiece, once the family seat of the Earls of Dunraven. Today it is cherished as a warm and welcoming 5-star luxury resort and is a proud member of The Leading Hotels of the World, which is one of the largest luxury hotel collections in the world, defined by its spectacular setting, authentic historic character, and the impeccable service of its world-class staff. The 104 guest rooms are air conditioned and lavishly appointed with original art, Georgian-style furnishings, luscious textiles and marble bathrooms. Guests may design a custom itinerary of activities in and around the sweeping 840 acre estate of formal gardens, peaceful forests and rolling parklands. Launched in December 2020, the new Padel Club activities centre offers our guests a wide range of invigorating and restorative activities to explore, such as padel, sports simulation games, pilates, yoga and barre classes, personal training and gym work-out sessions and our new 17-metre swimming pool. Falconry, archery, gun dog displays, clay pigeon shooting, fishing and more are all conducted within our grounds, with further adventures such as horseback riding and shooting available within a short drive of the Manor House. Golfers will be tempted by the prospect of a perfect round on the resort’s Tom Fazio designed championship golf course, poised to become one of the continent's finest courses. Adare Manor boasts the only La Mer spa in the UK and Ireland, as well as a relaxation, manicure and pedicure room, an elegant private cinema and boardroom. Irish Paradise

Adare Manor is a very, very special place. Why? It is small, only 103 rooms. The hospitality is exceptional. The staff goes out of its way to make guests feel at home. The breakfast is staggeringly good. The resort has a wide selections of activities to join. From gun dogs training, to falconry, to carriage rides, to afternoon tea, to movies, and to golf among others. We were very fortunate to be there on Easter Weekend. The Resort had a series of free special events including: egg painting, egg hunt, falconry demonstration, kids movies, and more. Just wonderful. The food at the dining restaurants are delicious and well prepared. I have been here three times and it just gets better and better. Kudos to Mr. Brendan O'Connor and team.

An amazing 24 hours

We recently stayed at Adare Manor and honestly, everything was incredible from start to finish. We arrived and had lunch in the library, which was such a lovely way to begin the stay — really relaxed but still special. The grounds are absolutely stunning and so well kept, you could happily just wander around for hours. The spa and thermal suite were a real highlight for us. So peaceful and luxurious, it felt like a proper escape from everything. Dinner in The Oak Room was just amazing. Every course was delicious and beautifully done — one of the best meals we’ve ever had. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful without ever being over the top. It just felt effortless. Our room was beautiful too, with gorgeous views and everything you could need. It was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime trip… but we’re already talking about when we can go back.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with sheer joy. The attendant at the main gates was a delight—so warm and wonderfully regal. We appreciated his humor as well as the scenic drive up to the manor, which set the tone for the entire experience. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by name, and our belongings were promptly taken to our room. During check-in, we were offered a refreshing beverage with elderberry and other lovely ingredients—a thoughtful and memorable touch. We were then given an orientation of the manor by another charming staff member, whose humor made the experience both informative and enjoyable. Our room was grand and beautifully decorated—elegant and truly reminiscent of what one might imagine for royalty. The coffee bar was exceptionally well-appointed, with a variety of milk options, coffee selections, and delightful sweets. Every beverage offering felt like a celebration of the best of Ireland. That evening, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Carriage House. We highly recommend both the beef and fish dishes, and the charred cabbage was a standout. The menu offered such an array of enticing options that choosing felt like curating your own culinary journey. This excellence carried seamlessly into breakfast. The spread was both abundant and beautifully presented, offering a wide range of fresh and flavorful options. The made-to-order dishes were equally impressive, and the service was attentive and accommodating throughout. We also spent time in the gymnasium, which was one of the finest we’ve experienced. Floor-to-ceiling windows flooded the space with natural light and showcased the stunning landscape beyond. The tall trees, meticulously maintained grounds, and rolling ridges felt like an extension of the space itself. The locker rooms were thoughtfully equipped with a robe, slippers, towels, and th fitness center had additional touches like protein bars and headphones—small details that made a big impact. As we were celebrating our anniversary, we were surprised with a beautiful chocolate dessert in our room and again at dinner. These thoughtful gestures made our stay feel even more special.

Family Vacation Perfection

We just returned from 5 days and 4 nights at Adare Manor. We traveled with our two daughters (9 and 7) for Spring Break. We packed our trip full of activities and everything turned out better than we expected. Valentine at reception went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely fantastic! David and Anthony at the front entrance were also wonderful with the girls and were always happy and full of energy when we saw them. Javier and Allesandra (from Italy) from reception, Rose from the golf pro shop, Charlie, Stephanie and the woman from the Dominican Republic at the restaurant were all amazing. The manor was decorated for Easter during our stay and we were blown away by the quantity of fresh flowers, chocolate sculptures and spring details. All impeccable. We stayed in room 436 - a stateroom with a bedroom and living room that was outfitted with two small beds for our daughters. We LOVED it. It was perfectly appointed, spacious and had a great view of the manor and grounds. We participated in the following activities: Archery with Angela, the horse and carriage ride with Sara, horseback riding at Clarina's Equestrian Center with Gillian, bicycle riding around the property and fairy garden, the pool at the Paddle Club, the spa (amazing) and the cinema (Zootopia 2). We would highly recommend all of these activities as they definitely enhanced our stay. The food was incredible. We had our dinners at The Drawing Room, The Carriage House, The Oak Room and 1826 Adare in town - you can't go wrong with any of these options. The Oak Room was culinary perfection but be prepared for a lengthy meal - especially with kids. Breakfast was amazing in the beautiful gallery of Adare - don't miss it. We tried almost everything on the menu and weren't disappointed. We also had time to walk the small village of Adare. It's worth the walk, had a nice park and cute shops. We also visited Harry Lowes chocolate shop, a must see with kids. Adare manor was family vacation perfection. It's not cheap, but it was worth every penny.
