Sequoia is more than a luxurious lodge offering unparalleled experiences. Sequoia is the story of this region, its nature, and produce. Wherever you look and go, discover the land and its people, connect with the earth beneath your feet and find joy in the beauty of being. While being seemingly removed from the hustle and bustle of the world, Sequoia sits on the side of Mount Lofty, high above the Piccadilly Valley in the Adelaide Hills, a region currently being considered for UNESCO World Heritage status. The area’s significance centres on its working agricultural (food and wine) landscapes, historic settlements, abundant wildlife, pure environment, continuing culture and practice. Due to the nature of its exclusive experience offerings, Sequoia Lodge, only accommodates guests over the age of 18 years.

Sequoia is in a beautiful setting with sweeping views of the Adelaide Hills. We loved every minute of our 3-night stay there. Plenty of interesting things to do (don’t miss the bee experience) and staff are there to offer suggestions and ensure that the logistics around your activities are seamless. Breakfast and dinner experiences were beyond our expectations. Produce was always fresh and beautifully presented. I’ve never tasted such good honey (from their own bees). I can only assume they look after their bees as well as they look after their guests, and happy bees produce great honey. The service at Sequoia was outstanding. We especially appreciated their giving us a lift to a nearby winery and also dropping us off at the airport (when our pre-booked taxi failed to arrive). Thank you.

My husband and I stayed at Sequoia for three nights. It was a wonderful stay and we loved everything about it. There are lots of experiences included and we got to try them all because we stayed for three nights. Beekeeping, cocktail making class, local cheese and wine, yoga, mineral hot pools, sauna and a tour of Mount Lofty house were all great experiences We also paid extra to visit a local truffle farm which was amazing. The truffle dog discovered lots of truffles which we tasted back at the lodge with a glass of local sparkling The rooms are large, very comfortable and have beautiful views. The large bath and fabulous shower made for an indulgent experience. Jurlique toiletries were a nice local touch Breakfast was delicious and started with a beautiful tasting board with wellness shots, granola, fruit and croissants then we chose hot dishes as well. We ate dinner one night in the lodge, had room service another night and ate at Crafers hotel too All the staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to please. Special mentions to Megan and Agnes for looking after us. We would love to return to Sequoia.

An outstanding property in a beautiful location. Spacious, luxurious, serene, well-appointed rooms with great views of the Adelaide Hills. Hard to fault anything - service, staff, rooms, facilities, food. All excellent. Can't wait to return.
