Rooms are great. Layout is, as noted in other reviews, brutal. Service is even worse. They were apparently at reduced staff (we had been told they cut staff given it was low season). I hope for the sake of ppl staying in “high season” that the staff who remained was the B team. The hotel experience was ill conceived and horribly executed at nearly every turn. We were left waiting after an early arrival for one of our adjoining rooms and repeatedly told that we needed to wait until check in time at 3 when the room would be available. Fast forward to 345 pm and we were told that the room was broken and wouldn’t be available for two days. Things come up but this was dealt with poorly. A perfect metaphor for the ineptitude is the water bottles. Half way into our stay they replaced the twist-off bottled water in our two adjoining rooms with ones that required a bottle opener to open. There was no bottle opener in either room and it took 3 calls and nearly 24 to have one brought to the room.

Six Senses is all about the sensory experience. Somewhat surprising then, that this is a vast and somewhat introvert hotel complex which guests may find challenging to navigate. We were told that the hotel was working on improving signs to provide directions. The location of the hotel is perfect for winter fun, providing direct access to ski slopes and lift. The spa area is large with multiple saunas and large pool, but no jet streams or jacuzzi to soothe sore muscles after a day in the outdoors. We did not try spa treatments, which would probably have provided ample relaxation. The brasserie offers a sumptuous breakfast and relaxed dining in an airy space opening onto a sunny terrace. Rooms and beds are large and comfortable with sophisticared remote controls for everything and great attention to detail.

Magical Hotel. What can I say what a flawless experience. Upon arrival we were greeted by the voiturier that made sure our luggages would be in the room promptly, and guided us to the lobby. At the front desk we were welcome with a drink of your choose and moist towels. Our room was ready so they escorted us to our beautiful room where they had also setup a dog bed and some delicious desserts. They also explained us the Phone App that can request anything you need during your stay and also controls the Shades & Lights in your room. We decide to have room service at it was late and the menu was just perfect, the order came promptly and was delicious. After a fantastic night of sleep on a very confortable bed & room, we headed to the Wild Cabin Breakfast that offered a wonderful buffet and a la carte menu, service was impeccable every breakfast and food was great. Finally we decided to ski, we were greeted by the ski Concierge (Barth) that was extremely helpful and very sweet. He organized our ski equipment and restaurant reservation on the mountain. After a great day of skiing we headed to the SPA for massages and relaxation. The SPA hostess was fantastic and explain all our choices. We decided on having two massages, the massages were exactly what we needed and very professional. The SPA facilities are absolutely amazing. Our first dinner was at Byako Restaurant, fantastic service and the Sommelier was very knowledgeable about pairing our Omakase experiences with delicious sake. Byako was festive with DJ & Saxo during our evening there. We also had dinner at Wild Cabin everything was fantastic. We stayed six nights and I must say the team members in all the departments are all very professional and there for your every need. Looking forward to staying at this Hotel next year. Again thank you for memorable stay!

I felt I needed to write a review as there seems to be so so many negative reviews here and I think it’s unjustified. The hotel is new and beautiful. The rooms are huge for a ski hotel , very modern, massive balcony’s and we never had one bad experience with room service. Rooms were cleaned when we weren’t there , we never had to chase and everything was replenished. We didn’t have one bad experience with staff service. We were greeted by a lovely lady at reception on check in, we had our room upgraded, a lovely bottle of champagne in the room and a chocolate cake. Our room overlooked the ski slope that you took back to the hotel for ski in ski out and it was perfect. Obviously had we have overlooked the car park / ski lift and bar it would be noisy etc and not so pretty so try to request the slope view if you can. The service at the ski shop/room was 10/10. Took us 15 mins to sort all equipment and we were on the slopes immediately. They have the ski passes waiting for you and to just ski home and leave everything in the boot room overnight ready for you the next day was seamless and made the trip. The spa amazing - 4 different types of saunas, a steam room, a cold lounge. The swimming pool is amazing , very relaxing to just sit by in the afternoon and we even tried the outdoor pool it was great. The food was brilliant at breakfast! My daily omelette was amazing, there was plenty of selection and the lunch was very good too. Everything is fresh. Cooked to order. We loved all the healthy juices and shots at breakfast time. And Sitting outside in the sunshine with champagne and fresh pizza from the pizza oven was perfect and a great way to break up the ski day. There are a few niggles like the lack of signs anywhere. We got lost almost every day not knowing where things were. It’s quite dark the hotel and trying to find the ski room / spa / pool Etc was pot luck. The elevators were annoying too some are for residents but you never know which one so you get in and none of the buttons work to get you to the floor you want because you’re in a residents lift by mistake. And I feel like they can make a better area for drinks in the evening - you basically sit in the check in reception area with no view of anything. Given the location this could be better I think. I was sure of anywhere else to really get a drink otherwise. It’s a great hotel / it’s obviously not cheap but for the quality of what you’re getting and the fact you can ski in and ski out with so much ease and they just look after everything for you it’s worth it. Amazing food , staff were brilliant in my opinion and I feel like the really terrible reviews are not warranted. We will be back.

The hotel is really nice, the direct access to the slopes is a plus, but the rest is definitely disappointing. Starting from the bad service, in all services, except for the Spa (fabulous) and the Japanese restaurant (great service, but banal and very expensive food). The lack of staff is evident everywhere: in the morning you have to queue to get your skis, ages-long waits at breakfast to get an omelette, asking for something from room service is a lottery (you have to use an app that doesn't work well due to the poor wifi signal in some parts of the building and then the staff forgets half of the order), random housekeeping service with cleaning only in visible areas (under the bed and behind the furniture there is a separate kind of life). Everyone is very nice a try to help, but the lack of organisation is flagrant. It seems that the hotel is structured to operate half empty, but when you pay almost 2000 CHF a night all this is not acceptable. My room was in the newer part so to get to the reception you get lost due to the lack of clear signs. My room had a parking and gondola lift view and in the afternoon you are surrounded by the cacophony of the music of their "apres-ski" and the one at “apres-ski” next door. Incredibly noisy. Whoever thought of making hotel rooms above a disco club has no respect for the customers. The original concept of Six Senses, resting and disconnecting, does not exist here. I speak relatively good French and in French-speaking Switzerland I am happy to speak the local language. Unfortunately, very few people speak French in the hotel. I do not want to be cruel, but even the level of English is pitiful for the majority. Finally, a quick note on the complexity of the room lighting system. I do not know if it is the same in all the rooms, but in mine it was a nightmare. It takes you two days to understand the principle and when you think you have understood it is already time to leave. I was fooled by some articles I read in the press that presented it as one of the best resorts in the Alps, but that is not the reality. I could name a dozen of hotels better than this one in the Alps, some at a lower price. Once again you can do good marketing, but then reality comes out and slaps you. It is a shame that a prestigious brand like Six Senses has been implemented so poorly in Switzerland. In short: potentially fabulous hotel, but very poor service and at that price level it is not acceptable.
