Hotel had a great location, but was not comparable to other hotels carrying the JW brand. No gym, no executive lounge, pool was closed, bar area was not comfortable. For the price you are paying, the room was extremely small. As a Marriott titanium member, I was unimpressed with the service for my 5 nights at this hotel.

Our stay at the JW Marriott Cusco was absolutely incredible, and the experience was made unforgettable because of the exceptional staff. A very special thank you to Jesus, who worked the night shift during our stay. We had a stressful transportation issue with a pickup that could have easily ruined our evening. Jesus handled the situation smoothly, calmly, and professionally. He resolved everything quickly and treated our family with such kindness and care. In what could have been a terrible situation, he completely turned it around and made us feel supported and valued. Another standout was Enrique, who welcomed us upon arrival. He couldn’t have been more amazing. He greeted our daughters with thoughtful presents and made them feel so special from the moment we walked in. Even now, the girls still talk about him! Enrique was always warm and welcoming every time we entered the hotel, assisted us with any concerns, and gave us fantastic recommendations for activities during our downtime. His genuine hospitality made a lasting impression on our entire family. We will absolutely be back — purely because of the outstanding service from Jesus and Enrique. They truly represent what hospitality should feel like.

We had a wonderful weekend at El Convento. The unique, historic property was a convenient location for us to explore historic Cusco on foot. Although the 5-star hotel does not offer a gym/fitness center, they offer a wonderful relaxation spa. In addition, we enjoyed a complimentary Pisco bartending class and guided tour of the hotel’s historic structure. When we return to Cusco, this will be the only hotel we will choose.

Fantastic stay. All the staff were extremely helpful. The spa is nice. The restaurant is delicious. Try the burger and the duck pasta! Friends stayed at different hotels and this was the best one between all of us.

One of the best hotels I've ever experienced. A hidden treasure blended with beauty and luxury with a modern lifestyle touch, tucked away in a city rich in culture.

Of the many fine attributes of the JW Marriott Cusco, the blending of historical architecture with modern comforts and high design is most unusual and perfectly executed. From the soft lighting to the rich dark woods and stone in the public areas, the understated atmosphere distinguishes itself as belonging uniquely to the Cusco property. And that holds true all the way to the lower levels where the lovely spa is intimately nestled. Not only was the staff properly warm, friendly and bi-lingual, but equally important highly skilled at their duties (which is surprisingly not always the case in fine hotels).
