Stayed two nights whilst passing through. Receptionist very pleasant and we got checked in speedily. Room was fine, quite large but a little dated. Adequate though for a short stop over. We didn’t use any of the hotel facilities so unable to comment on those. Would I stay here again? Probably, yes, if it suited our visit.

The customer service was excellent during my entire visit. I learned so much about the history of the hotel from Marcus who also helped to charge my cell phone that I wasn't able to. He went above & beyond, had the best attitude, and provided great customer service at 4:00 in the morning!! Thx for making my stay memorable.

I did consider Fairmont to be a semi-luxury brand, but this stay made me reconsider that. There was not much good to say about the hotel after my stay. So, I booked this hotel to stay for 1 night layover. I used my Suite night upgrade to the second biggest suite. It would have cost 1200 USD normally. And let me tell you, that would be the worst 1200 to spend. When we arrived by car, we drove in front of the doors. A man came to us and asked if we needed help with the luggage (8 pcs for the 2 of us). We said yes please. Then he came with the luggage trolly, but instead of lifting the luggage from the car, he kept the trolly steady, while we unloaded the vehicle. Its not an issue for me, unless I pay 1200 USD for the night and get to lift my own bags. The room was very old, and definitely needs a make over. The bathroom had large water pockets inside the paint layer on the ceiling, there was a light above the master bed, but the light was half the size of the hole… Breakfast was included to our Gold-level stay, but it was a Hilton Garden Inn level tiny buffet only. No serves, just make it yourself. The location might be food for some business men, definitely not for holiday. I would definitely not stay again. Unfortunately, I am afraid of staying in any Fairmont now.

Thaddeus Darrell Lucas was the best concierge we’ve ever had! So attentive and respectful. 10/10 would recommend a stay at the fairmont to anyone.
