Our stay at the Fairmont Dallas was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my daughter’s very first hotel experience magical. They welcomed my 5-year-old daughter and my 1-year-old with balloons and teddy bears, and they called us “the royal family.” They even called my little girl “Princess Elena,” and she was absolutely glowing with excitement the entire time. She kept asking, “How do they know my name?!” 🥹 They truly made her feel like a real princess, and as a mom, that meant everything to me. The rooms were spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire hotel felt warm, elegant, and relaxing. We also ordered room service, and the food was amazing — fresh, delicious, and delivered quickly. The valet service was another highlight. Every time we were ready for our car, we would call ahead, and by the time we made it down to the lobby, our car was already there waiting for us. The convenience and customer service were top tier. Overall, we had the most amazing experience, and we highly recommend everyone — especially families with children — to stay here. The staff truly knows how to make kids feel special and welcomed. Elena is already asking when we can come back again! 💕 Thank you for creating such beautiful memories for our family. We will definitely be back!

I very much like Fairmont Hotels, but this is not among the better ones. The hotel is simply tired-it definitely could use a remodeling. My room was large and had a good sized work area. The bathroom was small and very dated. The room lacked a sufficient number of outlets and was dark-there was no overhead light in the living area and there were not enough working lamps. I will happily stay at other Fairmonts, but likely not this one.

My stay at the Fairmont Dallas was chaotic and deeply concerning from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was told at the front desk that I had already checked out. I provided my government-issued ID and my reservation confirmation number, yet I waited nearly an hour only to be informed that my assigned room had been given to someone else. Eventually, I was issued a room. The following day, two security officers came to my room and told me I should not be there. When I contacted the front desk, I was told they had been notified that I was hospitalized. I went to the front desk in person, where I was questioned loudly about my identity and asked to provide my ID—without the staff member initially identifying herself. She later stated her name was Rebecca, the manager. This interaction took place surrounded by two security officers, hotel employees, and passing guests, creating the impression that I was attempting identity fraud. I was told that my bill needed to be paid in full immediately, which was done by my finance associate who was also attending the same conference. Later that evening, it was finally determined that there was another guest with the same name—an employee of the conference host—who was actually hospitalized and had a completely different confirmation number. To be clear: I had already presented valid identification, my employer affiliation, and my reservation confirmation, none of which matched the hospitalized individual. It is difficult to understand how this confusion could not have been resolved without repeated disruptions, public confrontations, and unnecessary involvement of security. The issues continued when my room key stopped working and I was once again told I had checked out, despite my scheduled checkout being the following day. At checkout, I was charged inconsistently for two identical room service meals, with a $12 difference. I was told a tip had been added to one bill but not the other, even though I tipped in cash when the food was delivered. To their credit, the $12 discrepancy was eventually resolved. I was also advised that I would receive a written apology letter from Rebecca and that the General Manager would personally reach out to make things right regarding the confusion and disruptions during my stay. To date, I have received neither a letter nor any communication from the General Manager. Overall, this experience reflects a serious breakdown in communication, guest privacy, and basic reservation management. What should have been a routine hotel stay turned into a stressful and embarrassing experience that was never properly acknowledged or resolved.
