Excellent customer service at this hotel!!! We showed up from the airport early to check in with a toddler that REALLY needed to take a nap. Jack F. at the front desk was so helpful and got us into an empty room so that our baby could sleep while the staff cleaned and prepared our suite. This was really going above and beyond, and was so appreciated. Because of this accommodation, we were able to attend a family gathering later in the afternoon without any toddler meltdown. So Jack F. at the Fairmont Dallas literally saved the day!

This was such an amazing oasis in the heart of downtown Dallas! I was met with helpful, cheerful, and genuine men and women directing me toward check-in; and then they checked me in early! I was so grateful! As I was accompanied to my room (with such an amazing view) I was delighted in learning about the history of the hotel, what it is like growing up in Dallas, and a genuine desire to help me with anything, and a regulated patience to listen and answer my myriad of questions! This was so helpful! Of course the Starbucks WITHIN the hotel is a JOY for someone like me who just arrived from Seattle; and the other culinary offerings In-House, really were fantastic… as this week is turning out to be a total work week for me in Dallas!

We went to the Fairmont Dallas for two nights to celebrate our engagement after reconnecting four years ago. We met in downtown Dallas at work just over thirty years ago at an office building not far from the Fairmont. I chose the Fairmont, hoping that the hotel would accommodate my request to give us a room that would provide a view of the office building in which we met. Not only did the Fairmont provide the PERFECT room that provided the PERFECT view of the office building as requested, but the concierge staff came to the room, took pictures of the view of the office building from the room and sent me those pics for pre-approval BEFORE our checkin. What service!!! That is above and beyond!!! I’m so thankful to the Fairmont staff for making our weekend special!! And a “thank you” for the celebratory bottle of champagne as well!!!

We stayed at the Fairmount, as part of our vacation, to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Overall, it was a great experience, the staff were very helpful, especially Phil the concierge, who greeted everyone with a smile. The public areas are smart and clean, but the bedrooms need some attention. They are clean, the bed was very comfortable, but the room 2400, was very dated and was in desperate need of a makeover and modernising to bring it up to scratch. Dark woods, no ceiling lights so it was very dark on a night, the bathroom was very very dated and badly marked and it was the lowest toilet we have ever sat on. It's a shame because the space was excellent, but it had clearly not been upgraded for a very long time and with a bit of money and vision this could be a fantastic hotel. Also be aware of the valet parking, which is an independent service and it's not cheap ($60 per night) and we weren't informed when we arrived, which was late and only found out by accident, when checking something with the front desk. It was removed, but clearly you need to be aware of this.
