The Highland Dallas

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Highland and had an amazing time. The hotel went out of there way from the valet attendant, front desk staff and the restaurant/bar staff. Truly a great stay. The room was very nice and clean with newer finishes and furniture. The view of the SMU campus and neighborhoods was great. The location was great with easy access from several routes, we took the N. Dallas tollway to within a couple miles of the hotel which is really close to hwy 75. The service and care we received was the really impressive part, my wife and I both loved all of the individual attention and cant thank them enough.

Great experience, treated with kindness and attentiveness. Clean place and atmosphere was very relaxing. Value is definitely worth it.

My massage with James was amazing. I've never had somebody work out my neck so well. You need to make an appointment at the spa.

Pros: Location Decor Cons: 1. No way to get coffee or tea - only on the morning is there awful lobby coffee or you can walk next door to a salon (?) but only for a few hours. 2. No refrigerator so forget water. 3. Minibar is ridiculously priced even by mini bar standards. 4. Service is subpar. Room service does not know their menu, acts confused when you call them, and spends 6 minutes telling you how butter works on cold toast. 5. Bar services ridiculously hot wine. 6. You will not get to drink tea before bed Go elsewhere
