We were not impressed. There were inconsistencies regarding entrance to the pool. (Do you need a wrist band or not?) The Owners Box bar did not have a bar back, so there were tons plates, eating utensils and glasses laying around that should have been picked up. Most hotels have a microwave in the room. This Omni has one microwave per floor. The ice machine on our floor didn't work. We reported it our first day there and it was never fixed. I was surprised that a basic continental breakfast wasn't included, as most places have that. The toilet paper is cheap. For the price, I expected better amenities. I will say that I loved our view of downtown Dallas at night. The pool was too warm, but also provided a wonderful view.

Travel here often on business. It's one of my go to Hotels in Dallas. I always say this quote. "It's like being on a cruise ship in that there is not reason to leave the hotel". They have 5-6 restaurants and a great pool overlooking the city. The gym is top notch as I am a gym rat. Tristin the loyalty Ambassador always upgrades me and makes me feel welcome. I want to say the staff are very customer focused and friendly. Shout out to Jose at the Sports Bar who is a real gentleman and always gives me a warm welcome. Andrew is a young fella who works the pool bar and lobby bar at times is a kid I am proud to have met. Being an Old salt I am elated to see such work ethic, morels, and positivity in a young man. He inspires any one he meets. Being an Omni loyalist I must say Omni culture exemplifies "Customer Service" It's the yard stick in Hotel experiences for me and an example of the quality service I use in my business ventures. Yes I have had a glitch or 2 experienced over the years (No amenity, priority check in board missing) but the rebound was amazing. Tip: Ask for upgrade to 02 suite at end of hall. Living large!

It's a great location, but the service has really fallen off over the years. Beware of the wifi. When I logged on the the wifi I was greeted with a warning that the login page may have been compromised. When I notified the front desk the clerk responded with shrugged shoulders and gave me a toll free number for "wifi login problems" . Also, don't make the mistake of using a luggage cart without a bellman. You'll be denied and scolded. I can't imagine that happening at The Joule or the Swexan. The place is just not what it used to be.

While the stay was lovely as usual, the pricing was low balled by $100. I was under the impression my suite would come with a tub and be 356/night. There was no tub and I was instead charged $456/night... Pricing: 6/10 Room: 9/10 Room service: 8/10
