Omni Dallas Hotel

I don’t know why people pay $500 a night for this hotel. For the ambience of the hotel pool. The Pool should maybe have 100 people. I’m exaggerating, but it’s like 500 people in this tiny little pool. You’ll see when you get there that it’s overcrowded way overcrowded. People go there for the photo opportunities. It’s chaotic. It’s overwhelming with screaming children, rude people people saving up their last time to just go there to take pictures. A bunch of kettle people, letting their children run crazy. security wouldn’t even speak to you to tell you how to get to the pool in the first place. there’s a spilled drink on the floor where people could’ve fell and got hurt and security. Says they’ll get it later on. Didn’t even call anybody to fix it.. I told him to have it fixed and after I told him to get it fixed, it got fixed. nobody would want their child to slip and fall. the rooms are extremely basic $500 and I can’t even get a microwave. the place is overhyped you’ll see it when you see it. The views are awful if you’re not up on top of the higher floors

The friendliest hotel staff I have ever encountered. Everyone is so kind; they always take a moment to chat, ask how you are, and do an excellent job. The hotel is beautiful, clean, tidy, and safe, and the food is superb. There is a pool, which is perfect for cooling off after the heat.

I recently stayed at the Omni Dallas Downtown and, unfortunately, had one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had at an Omni property. I checked in late and paid an additional $100 for the late checkout option, which extended my checkout time to 6:00 PM. However, before the next day even began, I received a receipt stating that my checkout time was 11:00 AM, despite my prepaid receipt clearly showing a 6:00 PM checkout. To avoid any confusion, I called the front desk, and they confirmed that my checkout time was indeed 6:00 PM. Despite this confirmation, I continued receiving calls reminding me to vacate the room by 11:00 AM. To make matters worse, a member of the housekeeping staff entered my room while I was still inside to ask if I would be checking out, even though it was well before my confirmed checkout time. I have had the pleasure of staying at several Omni properties over the years, and this experience was by far the worst. I expect much better communication and coordination, especially after paying extra for a late checkout.

My largest concern was housekeeping. My bed sheet had what appeared to be a blood stain or something that was overlooked and robe had smeared makeup on it and my bath tub area had someone's hair. Upon checkout, a manager and front desk staff member asked me about my stay and I did inform the of the robe briefly, but i was rushing back to event. The fridge was turned off so couldn't keep anything cold. A bit disappointing as those two minor issues caused me to be concerned about the cleanliness in my room, especially my bed. The staff was so awesome from start to finish. Staff in the gift shop, the restaurants, the members of the maintenance team I saw throughout the floors, and at check in. Just really kind and welcoming people who provided me directions patiently. A maintenance staff member even walked me to the elevators when I was checked in and a bit turned around. Great location with excellent amenities!

This was my first time staying in an Omni location and it will not be my last. Everything was perfect for my stay, from my impeccably clean room, to the dining options, to the location, to the staff. I cannot speak better of my room's view and accommodations, the restful atmosphere and overall great value of this stay.
