Omni Dallas Hotel

I enjoyed the entire experience at the Omni in Dallas. As a previous resident many years ago, I welcomed to the newish building to the downtown area. Close to many clubs, musuems and restaurants. Everyone at the Omni from front desk to housekeeping were helpful and friendly.

Stayed at the Omni Dallas last week for a conference and was disappointed by the service. Our room wasn’t cleaned the next day, and no one answered when we tried calling housekeeping or the operator. I had to call the hotel directly just to get clean towels. On Sunday, we stopped by the Owners’ Box—only one bartender was working the entire bar, so service was painfully slow. To top it off, my roommate ordered a late-night snack on Monday, and the food tray sat outside our room until we checked out on Wednesday. For a hotel with this reputation, the service definitely fell short.

I had a magnificant experience. The room and view was beautiful! The front desk staff was stellar! I can't say how good everything was. We also ate at Bob's steakhouse. This was an ensurpassed first-class meal! I will always remember that as the best hotel experience I've had.

Our hotel stay was just subpar. There was an issue with the hot water in our room. It was either ice cold or 2nd degree burns hot. No in between. There was an issue with the valet service getting your car down beforehand. Their text system didn't work and they didn't answer the phones. You had to just come down to the stand and wait. The food and coffee at Morsels coffee shop was not very good. The staff was super sweet though. I had an issue at booking and Chevelle in Guest Services was amazing. Robert at check in was kind, but only after he realized I had already paid an early check-in fee at booking. Other than those issues, the stay was good. We were only there one night.

This was my first time staying at an Omni Hotel. I am definitely at fan of this location and staff. We were there for a company Symposium and every step was perfect from check in to check out. Every staff member I interacted with was so attentive and helpful. Brigid (sp?) who checked us in was so good at answering our many questions and worked to get my team all located on the same floor which was so helpful for elevator meet ups, etc. All of the restaurants food and service was top notch. I do have to give a special shout out to our waitress, Jennifer, at The Owners Box. She was amazing at handling our large group with multiple drink and food orders and making sure we were taken care of. I was impressed with her calmness and efficiency. My room was beautiful and kept clean by housekeeping who also made sure to keep my coffee, etc. restocked nicely everyday. Everyone was so attentive and kind during my stay. I also loved how quickly the doormen were to grab the door for me anytime I got close to entering or exiting the building. I will definitely be adding the Omni in Dallas to one of my favorites.
