Nearly a century of Texas tradition radiates throughout the Warwick Melrose – Dallas hotel, a landmark of luxury in the upscale Uptown Oak Lawn neighbourhood and one of the most famous hotels in Dallas. Our historic boutique hotel near Turtle Creek continues to live a rich and fascinating life steeped in local culture and heritage. Built in 1924 and designed by American architect C.D. Hill in the classic Sullivanesque style, our boutique hotel is perfectly located for business and leisure activities including the State Fair of Texas, Highland Park Village, museums and a myriad of dining options within close proximity to Southern Methodist University. From the vintage opulence of The Library piano bar to memories created in the Grand Ballroom, the impeccable Warwick service calls to mind an era when travel truly meant something special.

We usually stay at the Renaissance near the Dallas Market center because we are retail clothing buyers. Everything was booked for this trip so we stayed at the Warwick. The rooms are outdated. The beds are small. The staff told us we could move to a king room the second night but then after our long day working at market they told us we were too late and all the rooms were booked again. Even though they told us we would have a king room available. Rude, unaccommodating staff. Totally disappointed in the small rooms. Loud neighbors slamming doors. Will never stay here again!!

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding last weekend. The hotel was very clean and well appointed. The staff were very friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing. The Library bar is beautiful and was very relaxing. I liked how they kept original features of the building during renovations. The room was beautiful and relaxing. Our air conditioning was very loud but we did not complain or alert anyone. Getting into the valet parking lot was a little challenging - but I did not do research ahead of time. The valet is in the back. The restaurant was going through minor remodeling so we weren’t able to down there. However, we ordered room service and it was very good.

One night stay was same as our previous stay. The hotel is well located. The corner bedroom was spacious. Bar food was great as was the room service breakfast. All staff members were courteous and efficient.

The room was very big, including a big walkin shower. Seating area, desk and coffee area. Bed and pillows only ok/. Bar was nice, but very crowded. Excellent location
