Nearly a century of Texas tradition radiates throughout the Warwick Melrose – Dallas hotel, a landmark of luxury in the upscale Uptown Oak Lawn neighbourhood and one of the most famous hotels in Dallas. Our historic boutique hotel near Turtle Creek continues to live a rich and fascinating life steeped in local culture and heritage. Built in 1924 and designed by American architect C.D. Hill in the classic Sullivanesque style, our boutique hotel is perfectly located for business and leisure activities including the State Fair of Texas, Highland Park Village, museums and a myriad of dining options within close proximity to Southern Methodist University. From the vintage opulence of The Library piano bar to memories created in the Grand Ballroom, the impeccable Warwick service calls to mind an era when travel truly meant something special.

Extremely disappointing experience at the Warwick Melrose Dallas. Due to an apparent issue with the hotel’s payment system, my card was charged/held a second time for the full amount of my stay, despite the booking already having been prepaid through my company. The hotel acknowledged the issue, but the funds have remained unavailable for several days. This has caused me significant financial inconvenience during my business trip, as I have been left without access to a substantial amount of my own money. What is particularly frustrating is the lack of an immediate resolution. I understand that technical issues can happen, but the way this situation has been handled is simply not acceptable for a hotel of this standard and i now have to rely on my bank to issue the dispute. I would strongly recommend that management review both the payment process and the way such incidents are handled with guests. A hotel should not leave a guest without access to their funds for days because of an internal payment-system issue. Very disappointing experience. I expected much better from the Warwick Melrose.

We've stayed at the Melrose a few times and we really love it. Booked a suite for our quick three night stay this time and it was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel was an apartment-hotel way back when (opened in 1920s) so the rooms are all of a pretty decent size! I'm now a Warwick Journeys Gold member, which entitled me to a couple of free drinks at the Library Bar (one of my faves) but unfortunately we didn't use the coupons this time. Overall the hotel is a very solid choice and is in a great Dallas neighborhood.

We stayed 3 nights. The staff is excellent, very helpful, and friendly. The hotel itself is very well maintained and clean. The library bar is cozy and friendly. If you get the bartender John, you’ll get the best experience possible. We highly recommend this hotel.

I am in my late 60s and very particular. When I travel, I insist on a level of comfort and service offered by few hotels. In Dallas, the Warwick Melrose never disappoints. Rooms and amenities are thoughtful, comfortable, highest quality and NOT cookie-cutter. Staff is well trained and personable (special thanks to Jean in the restaurant). Rooms are quiet, a result of solid construction. HVAC and plumbing are trouble-free. Room service is old-school and pampering. If I must leave the comforts of home, there are still a few properties providing a level of care that satisfies. The Dallas Warwick Melrose is an oasis of comfort.

Over the top service. Every interaction with each and every staff member was friendly, courteous and helpful. The Library Bar and Landmark Restaurant were exceptional, not just for the food and drinks but the hospitality made us feel welcome and at ease in a beautiful surrounding. Our King suite was more than a room; it was comfortably livable ! Dovey basically served as our concierge , she smoothly guided us through our schedule and our waiter Dustin at the Landmark was exceptional ! Lastly, Kevin the General Manager, personally took time to visit and help us with our travel destinations during our stay. This kind of experience and atmosphere with a hotel staff does not happen without training and expectation!
