About the Hotel

Blending the nostalgia of French colonial history with the magic of the Vietnamese tropics, Furama Danang Resort & Spa appeals on a multitude of levels. Within the bedrooms and suites you will find smooth timber floors, spacious balconies and perhaps even views of the South China Sea. Prime ministers and royalty have chosen this retreat when visiting central Vietnam, and you will understand why as you drift in the lagoon pool, enjoy a healing treatment at the spa and dine at Café Indochine, an Asian-style brasserie recalling the countryâ€(TM)s romantic days of old.

Amazing resort

Loved My stay at Furama The resort was super chill and right by the beach - perfect for relaxing. Staff were kind and helpful, always smiling. The room was comfy and clean, and breakfast had lots of tasty options (pho was my fave). Great place to unwind - I'd totally come back

Fabulous experience at the Furama Resort Danang

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

We stayed for 9 nights in July and we had a fantastic experience. Firstly, on arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff and given refreshing welcoming drinks which was much needed. All the staff were genuinely friendly and always helpful which majes a lot of difference to the experience. The hotel has excellent facilities with two lovely swimming pools (large main pool and another lagoon style pool) which were always well maintained and cleaned. The hotel had its own private section of the beautiful sandy beach with free use of the sun loungers. This meant it was less busy and crowded compared to other sections further along the beach, which was perfect for us. We booked a deluxe room with the ocean view which was fantastic. Nothing beats a view of the sea from the balcony, first thing in the morning, so paying the extra was worth it. The room itself was huge as well as the bathroom and both were of a high standard and cleaned daily. Each room is given 6 free bottles of water, refilled daily so there wasn't a shortage of water to drink and use. We also had an amazing breakfast each morning with a wide range of international and local Vietnamese dishes, all freshly cooked and was of an extremely high standard. The freshly prepared Pho (traditional Vietnamese noodle soup) , banh mi (Vietnamese mini baguette) , and ice cold Vietnamese coffee should not be missed. Along with the brilliant holiday experience we had in Danang, staying at the Furama Resort was an excellent choice of hotel to stay. The hotel was always meticulously maintained and the friendly staff made a big difference to the overall experience. They even had a flock of resident peacocks roaming the grounds with their own keeper which gave it a more exotic feel. We have stayed in many hotels over the years and the Furama is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Being the first major hotel to be built in Danang, it continues to do a great job of maintaining it's reputation of being one of the best hotels in the area. We will definitely be returning here for our next visit to Vietnam. One recommended tip would be to download and use the Grab app for booking taxis and ordering food/drinks. This avoids getting overcharged or any disputes when booking taxis.

Except the 2 opportunities.....PERFECT!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Hi Andre & Team Furanma, Firstly, thanks for hosting us at your resort....it's Day 2 for us at the resort, and here is our experience synopsis so far: 1) Customer Service: 50:50....Good - the lady who checked us in at the reception was amazing, initiated my tennis booking perfectly. Had a nice session early morning...Thanks Coach! Bad: Pretty lousy Service at your IndoChine restaurant, spoiled my Birthday dinner... NO Table napkins, NO water served, Delayed food items(last item we simply left untouched)...had to request and the response was "we ran out of napkins" at 8:30 pm...C'MON! 2) Property: Good - Loved it...pretty much everything is inside.....pool, games room, gym, my favorite is/was one of the most beautiful tennis court, nestled between the scenic greenery. Bad: Our room from day 1 has a leaking aircon, isn't that a safety hazard? Refer pic 3)Others: Great Location, Multiple Planned Daily activities for adults/kids. If we take out the 2 "Argh" examples this by far "would" be the #1 Resort in Da Nang. PS: The birthday cake in the room was a pleasant surprise.

Lovely hotel .

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Exceptional service throughout our 8 night stay . Such a beautiful hotel overlooking the beach . Room was spacious ,lovely big bath . Buffet breakfast was as nice as any 5 star hotel we have stayed in . The only thing we feel needs to be considered is an adults only pool . The children pools were not really used and children were always in the main pools so was very noisy Also building works going on currently .
