Blending the nostalgia of French colonial history with the magic of the Vietnamese tropics, Furama Danang Resort & Spa appeals on a multitude of levels. Within the bedrooms and suites you will find smooth timber floors, spacious balconies and perhaps even views of the South China Sea. Prime ministers and royalty have chosen this retreat when visiting central Vietnam, and you will understand why as you drift in the lagoon pool, enjoy a healing treatment at the spa and dine at Café Indochine, an Asian-style brasserie recalling the countryâ€(TM)s romantic days of old.

Amazing resort, stayed in an Ocean Front room with a balcony. Make sure when you book this room if you want a balcony you email them prior to ensure you have not been put on the ground floor without one. They moved us so no issues. Beautiful room, lovely toiletries and smell of the body wash is amazing. All the staff very friendly from reception, to housekeeping, activities all lovely. Room; Very spacious with a lounge area Very clean Huge bathroom (no bath in this room) Tea and coffee making and free water daily Toiletries provided Housekeeping very good Buffet breakfast was okay not the best we have seen in Vietnam but enough to start your day. Coffee they use UHT milk mot fresh so doesn’t taste great. Bars, cafe, pool side bar are lovely nice food good range of drinks to select from. They have villas and pickleball courts with lessons available. Cheap and was a great start to the morning having it on site. Beach front is lovely, towels, chairs, hammocks and able to order food with shade provided. Pools are nice there are a couple of the them and the lagoon one is great so tranquil. You could hang around this resort and not need to leave. Easy to get a grab or taxi, not far to drive from there to the city /markets/ beach clubs. Not a lot in walking distance just a few mini marts, massage places and a few restaurants. Spa massage was great around $100 Aus for an hour so not cheap but nice and very clean. Only around an hour to Ba Na Hills to see the village and bridge. In all I would go back as it was a great resort!

Danang was our final stop in Vietnam. We chose Furama as we wanted a luxury resort to relax near the beach/pool before starting our journey home (rather than as a base for sightseeing, having already spent 4 busy days in Hoi An). We were very happy with our choice - the resort is just beautiful, with beachfront views and surrounded by lush gardens. Our room (Ocean Studio Suite) was spacious, tastefully decorated and with a balcony complete with small table setting as well as sun lounges. The 2 pool areas are quite separate and with very different feels - the lagoon pool has a more secluded feel and is surrounded by gardens (our favourite), while the main pool area was larger and overlooked the beach. Furama prides itself on being a 'culinary resort', and did not disappoint. Our package included a choice of 3 dinners - we chose the steak & seafood buffet, which has to be seen to be believed. It includes a massive range of dishes in the buffet, but the real highlight is the fresh seafood and steak (you select and it's cooked to your liking by the chef). Definitely don't miss this if you stay here. Our package also included an afternoon tea & dessert buffet (high tea, but buffet style) which we really enjoyed (slight downside was the sandwiches were a little stale/dry, but there were plenty of other things to choose from). The breakfast buffet (included) was the largest we experienced in our Vietnam travels and also included made-to-order dishes. We also chose the Vietnamese Copper Tray meal for our final dinner, being a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes, beautifully presented on a massive copper tray - quite an experience to see. The staff were all very attentive (particularly at the steak & seafood buffet where they personally assist you in selecting the seafood). A few things to note: - the location is to the south of the main city centre - not easily walkable (it took us almost an hour to walk back from the Dragon Bridge one evening). However, Grab is really quick and easy to get into the city - particularly as the resort entrance is well off the road, with plenty of space for drivers/Grabs to stop. - there isn't a huge amount to see/do in the immediate vicinity of the resort. However, there is a convenience store right across the road from the resort entrance (easy to pick up extra water, snacks and other necessities at very inexpensive prices) - being a 5-star resort, the prices for food and drinks were higher than our other Vietnam stops, although still very reasonable compared to what we would pay at home (Australia). eg - the steak & seafood buffet was VND 888k per person (just under AU$50) - very good value for the quality and incredible variety, but still quite expensive by Vietnamese standards.

I had an extremely good experience staying at Furama Resort Danang. It was not the best trip, as I encountered various travel mishaps and family members (senior citizens and a toddler) got ill. Thankfully, I was well taken care of by the staff, Tri and Quan (Relationship Manager and Concierge) . They were there to assist me with all problems and requests. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them. The resort's facilities are fantastic. The food at the restaurants is awesome. The room has a rustic feel and was clean. The resort is located in the less lively peripheries of Da Nang, but is still convenient to reach other locales via Grab / other ride-hailing services, or hotel vehicles. Overall, the stay at the hotel was very pleasant, and it was made even more memorable by the staff and hospitality. Thank you, Tri and Quan, for making my stay awesome, and I will definitely return.

5 star service and attention to detail was second to none . My husband is in a wheelchair and we found the accessibility to be good . Staff were there to help before we even asked . They were brilliant especially at the poolside and beach area . Breakfast buffet and lunch was very good too . Would recommend. We had a fabulous few days and felt relaxed and totally enjoyed it all .
