Reviews for InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort

SIX Star Resort in Da Nang

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 13 hours ago

Looking for a high-end resort? The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is a top choice. Everyone talks about its amazing location, beautiful design, and incredible service. The amenities and restaurants are also super high-quality. The decor might be a bit much for some, but those unique architectural details and the private, luxurious vibe are what really make this place special.

A justifiable indulgence

Only 40 minutes from DaNang airport but a world away. Fabulous resort hotel offering accomodation, food and amenities on the sensible side of decadent. The setting is idyllic and the extensive grounds are well designed and carefully maintained. Plenty of no-cost activities. Views are sublime as are all staff. And there’s monkeys!

Returning Guests — And Still Blown Away

This was our second visit, and we’re already planning the next! Everything here is top-notch: spacious rooms (all ocean view), stunning architecture, and immaculate grounds. Our King Classic room was as comfortable, peaceful, and luxurious as it was two years ago. Nothing feels worn or outdated. Citron’s breakfast buffet and dinner are must-tries, serving outstanding Vietnamese cuisine. But the real magic is in the staff. Their warmth, pride, and willingness to go the extra mile make this resort unforgettable. We were thrilled to see familiar faces from our last visit, a true testament to the resort’s ability to inspire loyalty in its team. Special thanks to Khoa, Vy (Vivienne), Thang Nguyen, and Suong at Citron, who made every meal special. Managers Thienh (recently promoted!) and Olivier set the tone with their exceptional leadership. We also loved the Mi Sol Spa for deep relaxation, and the Long Bar’s fresh mocktails were perfect for sunny days by the beach with views of the ocean and mountains. Uyen (Spa Reception), Trinh (Gondola), and Hoang (Long Bar) also made our stay extra memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

Worldclass resort in amazing setting-

Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms. Our stay was a week. Our family booked two rooms--the second morning, Yuri met us at breakfast offered an upgrade to the Royal Residence by the Sea (for a fee, of course. also, negotiable, of course). It was amazing-- the online photos are accurate and the setting is unreal. He was super helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Our personal butler was Mochi, who also provided outstanding service. And there were too many other fantastic staff whose names I no longer recall. This hotel is on Son Tra. The monkeys really are everywhere. We thought that was great, but you really can't leave the window open. Really. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from town, easy to get a taxi. And one thing I didn't understand before my trip--the taxi drivers will pick you up at the hotel--say, for a day trip to Hoi An. And yes, they will give you their info on Whatsapp, and then you message them and they will come pick you up and bring you back. Easy!

Heartwarming and genuine service

If you're looking for a luxurious experience in Danang then look no further. This place treats their guests very well. The main selling points are the aesthetics of the location. Its in a remote part of Danang. This naturally makes the location a very serene one. Because of how remote it is, do plan your commute around Danang to include a 30 min extra commute to get to downtown if you are planning to do that. The nice part is that there are grab taxis readily parked outside the resort entrance. So you don't have to worry about the wait times. The native monkeys are definitely a huge bonus part of the resort. They aren't hostile and I'm just so glad about the effort the resort is taking to preserve as much of the monkey's home as possible. The resort does have a private beach that you can liase with the staff to run any private events. The view you get from the beach is stunning to say the least.
