A Beautiful Resort with Caring Service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Situated on the mountain and the sea, the beautiful resort is a perfect place for escape. Besides the stunning view with adorable monkeys we see in the resort, the service we receive is impressive! Big thank you goes to Ms.Ngoc Nguyen, Ms.Chloe and the team for being so attentive and caring to our need during our stay. Will love to go back soon!

Wonderful trip and Intercontinental Danang

Relaxing resort with artistic decorations and beautiful food and service by Ivan and Lan Vu! A place you would come and never wants to leave. Private beach and safe security are so assuring. Not to be found everywhere. The most beautiful InterContinental hotel in the world.

A place you can relax and spend time with nature

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The resort is far away from the city, it’s quiet where you can feel the nature, once you come in you don’t think about leaving. :) The staff here are great at what they do, I chatted with a few of them and really impressed with how they really cared wanted to do their best for the guests. And the club lounge, if you have access to the club lounge, you will love it. I enjoyed my time there a lot. Good view, good food, beautiful environment. And a special shout out to Lan Vu at the club lounge, every time I saw her she greeted me like a friend with a nice smile, and she’s also very attentive and responded to everything quickly.

Spectacular

The Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula is nothing short of spectacular. I am not sure where to begin. The natural setting in lush green hills and the powdery soft beach is jaw dropping gorgeous. The architecture of the resort is equally stunning and everything has been carefully thought through in harmony with nature including the gorgeous resident Douc monkeys and we saw a few families of them every day (including a mother carrying the cutest baby on the planet). The rooms are all gorgeous with every detail carefully thought through. We had a king club suite with panoramic sea view and true to its name, the view is spectacular. Suites also come with a butler service who cannot do enough for you (as is the case with all staff) and club access which is the most beautiful space with great cocktails, afternoon tea etc. Soft drinks are also complimentary on the beach if you have club access. Food is just as gorgeous everywhere. We mainly ate at Citron as we love Vietnamese food and the quality of the food is truly excellent. I am vegetarian and every time we sat down for any meal, I was immediately given the vegetarian menu. Breakfast is again excellent. Citron has a very large buffet with every delicacy imaginable on offer whereas the club has a continental buffet with dishes to order a la carte. The club is quieter and brighter as it has large windows and white decoration. We tend to prefer lighter breakfasts and the quality of the pastries is as good as top Parisian palace hotels (if not better) with a larger spread (from pain suisse to raspberry danish and everything in between including the best pains au chocolat). The spa is heavenly too with the largest and most serene treatment rooms you have seen, little huts perched on the waterside. I had a facial that was quite honestly one of the best I have ever had so I had to book it a second time on the last day of our stay. Honestly, I am running out of superlatives to describe this place. We stayed here for one night at the beginning of our Vietnam holiday and then for 3 nights at the end of our tour. I have not been able to find a single thing that was below excellent. The attention to detail and design are impressive throughout. This place makes the white lotus resorts pale in comparison, the natural setting and design are out of this world spectacular. Asia is blessed with great resorts with phenomenal service and IC Danang Sun Peninsula is up there at the very top. If you are coming to central Vietnam, you will not regret staying here. If central Vietnam is not on your list, just add it and come and stay here anyway.

Beautiful views otherwise average

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The Intercontinental Danang boasts a truly spectacular location, nestled between lush green hills and a private beach, offering stunning views that make for a serene and picturesque getaway. It’s an ideal spot to relax, unwind, and take in the natural beauty. That said, the service fell short of expectations, especially for a property of this caliber. Our check-in experience was underwhelming — the front desk attendant seemed visibly annoyed when we asked for a review of the property map, which left a less-than-welcoming first impression. Throughout our stay, we also encountered a few communication issues. For example, when we ordered a margarita, it was misunderstood as a request for pizza. Similarly, a club sandwich arrived missing the meat entirely. While these may seem minor, they added up and disrupted the otherwise relaxing atmosphere. Despite these service hiccups, there were definite highlights. The pool, although on the smaller side, was a lovely spot to relax, and the pool attendant was friendly and attentive. The resort is best enjoyed as a place to soak up the amenities — from relaxing massages to water sports and quiet time by the pool. With some improvements in service and communication, this could easily be a top-tier experience. For now, it’s a visually stunning retreat that just needs a bit more polish to match its setting.
