It was 11th June I walked in to Kara mbezi cafe for my birthday lunch. It was just me at first and no body approached me to welcome me or atleast direct me where to sit. I sat by the sea side and still waiters would just walk past me no body came for a couple of minutes until one guy named Seif I guess, came and spoke to me and took my order and apologised. Seif was very kind and when he left his shift he came and said good bye and actually introduced me to Respisious who carried on with the service and he was quite kind and good at his job too. My friend arrived and joined me, she ordered the T-bone steak and it was too salty fortunately somebody came and had it fixed quickly It didnt take too long. My ice cream came molten 😞, but that was also fixed. I have experience working in a five star hotel and I understand that mistakes happen but the fact that no one approached me when I walked in and I sat there with nothing on my table for some time, my ice cream was delivered molten, steak came salty, my friend who came to joined me had some sort of inconvinience as they tried to stop her from sitting on the sea side claiming it was all reserved while not the whole sea side was reserved, just simply doesnt make sense for such an expensive restaurant. Seif and Respicious Big up, they were very professional and kind to us. otherwise, very nice cozy restaurant during the day.

The most amazing and humble humans I've met on this trip. They welcomed me like family, and that made my short stay amazing. I appreciate the Sea Cliff Hotel team for the smiles and laughter. See you again soon. Literally.

Beautiful remodel whilst keeping the classic heritage pieces of furniture and the warm welcome that makes this hotel really a home from home. A genuine interest in the guest receiving the best experience and enjoying their stay, from the pool supervisor to guest relations who go the extra mile. We have stayed in many world class hotels that whilst top class don't exude the true warmth one experiences at Seacliff. Comfortable beds, with a variety of pillows, block out curtains and quiet with good air-conditioning to get the best night’s sleep.Good quality toiletries that mean you can leave your own behind. A subtle fragrance throughout the hotel areas that invites calm and rest without prompting sinus sensitivity. Restaurants within the hotel offering variety of culinary experiences and other options nearby. Many cultural and meeting spots around the corner offering art, cafes, craft shops etc. The highlight has to be the incredible ocean views, looking out to sea where the ferry, local douhs, fishing boats, yachts and distant ships can be seen with a lovely crystal clear pool with loungers and wait service or a swimming beach just around the corner. For those wanting to chance their luck, a well appointed casino to the side of the hotel complex. A hair and beauty salon on site with a gym to work off the weight from indulging in the wonderful food. Breakfast is worth a stay on its own. Just love this place as do the whole family
