Halcyon, a hotel in Cherry Creek

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Ray at the front desk. Because of her, my girlfriend and I's experience at the hotel was spectacular. She is the personification of hospitality and made us enjoy our visit very much. Because it was our first time in Denver, Ray made sure to provide us plenty of recommendations on neighborhoods to visit, activities to try, and places to eat and drink. Even when we had so many questions, Ray never made us feel bad and welcomed even more questions. She treated the guests amazingly, and gave us complimentary drinks and coffee when we came to the front desk. She knows how to make the guests feel comfortable, and is very personable. We were able to visit this hotel earlier this month in April, so this review is slightly overdue but I wanted to make sure that I wrote one down to commend Ray. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the layout is well thought out. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the rooftop pool and jacuzzi were nice to relax in. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Denver and wish to visit again due to the great hospitality and care.

Ray at the front desk was absolutely horrible. I got ignored and treated like dirt when I was checking in, the breakfast here tastes like cardboard and the staff is very unwelcoming. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stayed three nights in the Loft Suite. It was a wonderful experience. My daughter loved the two level suite, the complementary fruit and muffins! Staff were great. We were able to use the house car to go to the botanical gardens (tickets were included in the stay!). It was too cold for the pool but we went to the roof to check it out. Great space, we will definitely be back for a summer visit.

We stayed at the Halcyon last year as part of an extended stay for a concert at Red Rocks and could not have made a better decision! First, It's a great location if you are looking for an area that has a lot to offer within walking distance. We walked and explored numerous shops and dining areas including a great walk to the Botanical Gardens a short distance away. But we were also just as happy when back at the hotel as the staff was friendly and engaging providing a welcoming energy. All of the amenities were top notch and we enjoyed Local Jones for a couple of really good meals, as well. The roof top pool and sauna were both highlights for us! I have to also highlight Barbara Lumley who works as an operator who went above and beyond from a customer service aspect several months after our stay. I wanted to buy something specific at the gift shop, but there was no option set up to allow that through the website. She offered to box it up and ship it if I could email her a shipping label. I had it my hands 3 days later and the bday girl was very happy! When we return to Denver, we will return to the Halcyon, no question!

We had a fabulous stay! The rooms are clean and pretty and the hospitality was one for the books. The front desk makes coffee drinks and they have a free happy hour too! We loved Ray at the front desk she was beyond amazing she was so very sweet and helpful! Thanks for the stay!
