Halcyon, a hotel in Cherry Creek

Will start with: Really liked this hotel and will undoubtedly stay there again. However a few unfortunate choices got in the way of five stars: 1. Most rooms have no desks. That is a bit of a nonstarter if here for business or otherwise want to be productive. Make sure to ask for a desk, worst case I think they can roll some kind of coffee table thing in that can function as a desk but not ideal. 2. The bed: this is very subjective so did not affect my rating but I found it to be way too soft and lumpy. Seems to have some kind of feather bed like topper. Very difficult if you are a stomach sleeper, somewhat problematic if a side sleeper , great if you are a back sleeper. Others love the bed. 3. Toilets - very low pressure flushing. It would be a good idea to replace the toilets. It is the flush design of the toilet not the water pressure. 4. Coffee bar - love it, along with the wine and pastries. But just a bad idea to have the person manning the desk handling making lattes. When you are checking in or out the last thing you want is to wait for somebody getting a latte. Staff was great, location was great, vibe was great, restaurants great, but these things need to be addressed.

Staying at the Halcyon was an excellent choice for us; we had contemplated the Clio or Jacquard, which are both close, but opted instead for the Halcyon based on the amenities and intimate elements that didn't seem to exist at the Marriott properties. We were blown away by the chic and fun decor and the amazing surprise in our room (for my birthday). The staff is amazing and the happy hour at the front desk was appreciated and excellent. This hotel understands the needs of travelers with fresh tap, hot and sparkling water outside all the elevators on each floor, and fresh fruit, tea and newspapers each morning. The location is also fantastic with shopping and restaurants close. We will definitely return!

Excellent hotel in Cherry Creek. Close in and convenient to walking for sightseeing, shopping and a wonderful assortment of dining experiences. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyable restaurant/bar off lobby. Rooms are very nicely appointed and quiet. The roof top hot tub was very relaxing and glad that it had not been closed for the winter. Parking/valet staff always very helpful. This trip in to Denver from Breckenridge we were assisted by Alesando and Sam at curb side making our entrance and exit non-stressful. We've stayed here many times and always look forward to our next visit.

My stay was incredible from start to finish! The room was so cute and cozy — the perfect little getaway. The rooftop staff was amazing, and the pizza was absolutely top tier! A huge shoutout to Mike, who went above and beyond to help me surprise my girlfriend. He walked me through how to order everything for delivery, coordinated the most beautiful balloon decorations, and handled all my stressed, annoying phone calls with so much patience. Truly a lifesaver! And Bailey — wow! He made my girlfriend feel so seen and special, even surprising her with a complimentary bottle of wine. Thanks to both of them, she had an unforgettable birthday and we had such a memorable stay. I’m genuinely grateful for the exceptional service. Highly recommend!

This is a point hotel in every way. The hotel sits in a perfect location of Denver. Very vibrant and walkable. The room and bathroom were exceptional. Loved the coffee table that serves as a desk as well. Of course the hydration station was in a perfect spot Our check in experience was perfection Thank you to Ray and Jordan for educating on the hotel’s offerings. We enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant. Emily guided on menu selections. I saved the best for last. The valet team is one of the best we ever experienced Jordan remembered us each time. The best that we crossed paths with was Alejandro. He was the most engaging with us. He was sincere and took an interest in us. I witnessed him opening the exterior door for the restaurant. He is a keeper. Thank you for a great visit!
