Hotel Teatro

My wife & I stayed here on our wedding night 9/16/2000 & returned recently for the first time since. Our check in experience was a mix of the room not being ready and an incompetent staff who were condescending throughout the process. After waiting an hour, we were upgraded to the "largest suite in the hotel" only to discover the majority of it was closed off and occupied by other guests. Nice touch. If you are wondering why this hotel is cheaper than the others that are close by, there are reasons for that. I hope that the front desk staff find careers that they are better suited for as hospitality is not it. Terrible experience, choose another property to enjoy our wonderful city from.

We had a very good experience at this boutique hotel. The location is perfect for Ball Arena events and right on Larimar Square. All the staff is great, the room was just what we needed as well as clean and presentable. I would recommend and stay here again.

The staff was amazing! Very knowledgeable and kind. We ate a Nickels and used the valet service. I was there for a conference and it was the first time I stayed at a small hotel chain. Well worth the stay!!

My wife and I visited Denver for a concert on Oct. 3, 2025. We stayed at Hotel Teatro from Oct. 2 through Oct. 5. In short, our trip went perfectly and Hotel Teatro was the right choice for our hotel. First, the staff were wonderful. We found ourselves needing directions, etc. a few times and a staff member responded immediately to our confused looks. Second, our room and the building were great. Everything looked freshly cleaned and mixed old-school style with modern improvements. The entire building was just gorgeous. Finally, the hotel's location made it easy for us to access virtually everything in Downtown Denver by walking or taking an Uber. The next time we visit Denver--which my wife now insists should be soon--we'll almost-certainly stay at Hotel Teatro again.

Bathrooms were dated, water overflowed the showers into the bathroom from the rain shower head. The first room I received; the AC didn’t work, and there was long black hair on the shower walls and floors. The common/public spaces were nice.
