Niyama Private Islands Maldives

It is a great pleasure to share my impressions of our family stay at Niyama from June 30 to August 12, 2026. We were thoroughly impressed by the attentiveness starting from the moment we arrived at the airport in Male. Despite our early arrival, our private transfer was waiting for us on time; an assistant quickly collected our luggage and escorted us to a comfortable vehicle that delivered us to the seaplane lounge. Less than half an hour after, we were taking off in a seaplane bound for the resort. After arrival we were immediately greeted by Sam, our incredible and absolutely amazing butler (Sam definitely deserves special thanks and many odes of praise. Throughout our stay, he was impeccably attentive to all our requests and wishes, resolving any issues within a few minutes—or an hour at most!) Another point that sparked my love for this place was the immediate check-in to our villa. No waiting, despite the early hour! It was sheer delight—especially after a long journey with three children, one of whom is just a year old! The villa was prepared to the highest standard, with meticulous attention to detail and a personal touch that made the guest feel truly expected and welcome. E.g. for the youngest child, beach toys, a set of children's bath accessories, a comfortable crib, and a potty were provided—all without any prior request, simply as a thoughtful touch. Overall, I would like to specifically highlight the housekeeping service: high-quality and efficient. Restaurants and Food. Edge: excellent cuisine, and a stunning view. Friendly and attentive staff. Nest: for fans of Asia and spicy food, incredibly stylish. Drawbacks: it was stuffy. Tribal: amazing! Unexpected discovery: crocodile, ostrich, antelope... wow! Epicure/Blu: delicious breakfasts (buffet). Friendly and caring staff. Special thanks to the amazing and caring Hary for resolving the only ambiguous situation with further support during our stay. Beach and pool: Our villa (134) had a lovely beach and a private pool. No issues. But there are villas where the beach looks unappealing. There are two shared pools (near Epicure and Blu) Conclusion: The hotel offers excellent service; the staff puts in the effort, and management definitely cares the resort's reputation. We would like to express our gratitude for our memorable vacation. Once again our special thanks to Sam and Hary.

Fully recommended for couples, and families. A lot to do and a lot to enjoy. simply fantastic! You can move by bike across the 2 islands. Both overwater and beach villas are amazing. Every restaurant is diferent but all combined magic ! Edge views on sunset.. like the best movie !!

We were in Niyama in August 2026., as family with 2 children. We loved it so much. Our thakuru Shafeeg was great, he did whatever we wanted. Shafeeg thank you a lot! Also him and all the staff in Niyama took care of our daughter when she was little ill, he sent a doctor, who gave her medicine, etc. We liked surfing, even we are all beginers but our surf teacher was great. She teached our daughter how to surf very quickly. Restaurants are delicious, especialy Subsix - under water restaurant, Edge, Nest and Tribal. We were very sad when we had to leave, but we hope we will come back soon!

Niyama was nothing short of extraordinary. The hospitality and service were the best we have ever experienced. Every single employee was incredibly friendly and genuinely invested in making our stay special. The food was exceptional, the natural beauty was awe-inspiring, and the lush, tropical vegetation made the island feel like a true paradise. Our daughter absolutely loved the kids' club — it was amazing and kept her entertained and happy throughout our stay. A heartfelt thank you to Youkay, our butler, for taking such wonderful care of us — and to everyone else who played a part in making our stay so memorable. We truly cannot thank you enough.
