Excellent atmosphere and very good location. It is amidst several other resorts giving you a chance to walk and see nearby places.

Great staff
Collins on reception went above and beyond to make our stay special and I cannot thank him enough for this. The staff and food were 10/10 very friendly and food was good selection and tasty. The hotel and pool itself is in need of some TLC but good to see there was some renovation ongoing

It was a really good holiday. Staff were amazing, room very clean and the food absolutely delicious. We had an amazing week,beautiful weather. I have to mention here Victor, Eric, Maurice, Jack all of them bartenders. Very friendly and always spot on. Also Charles the pool attender a very nice person. Definitely I will go back.

The Worst Resort Experience We’ve Ever Had
SSTAY AWAY from Diani Beach Resort & Spa. We were completely misled. Hotels.com lists this property as a 5‑star resort — in reality, it wouldn’t even qualify as a 1‑star. Over half of the resort is abandoned and boarded up. Large sections of the grounds are inaccessible, and the entire place feels neglected and forgotten. Our room had mold in multiple areas: on the headboard, inside the lamps, on the curtains, and even in the bathroom where they had clearly tried to paint over it. It was unacceptable. The website claims the spa is “under renovation,” but based on the condition of the property, it looks like it has been that way for years. Both restaurants were closed. The only place to get food was the buffet. The gift shop? Gone. The nightclub? Gone. The business center? Gone. The second bar? Gone. No darts, no pool tables, no table tennis — nothing that is advertised online actually exists. A large portion of the information on Hotels.com, TripAdvisor, and even the resort’s own website is simply false. Someone needs to ensure properties listed on Hotels.com are not deceiving customers. The only positive thing about this resort is the staff. They are the ones keeping this place afloat, and they are the people I genuinely feel sorry for. They were kind, helpful, and clearly doing their best despite the conditions. We checked out the very next morning — after spending the night making calls to get out of there — and we are still waiting for a refund. This resort is absolutely not what it claims to be.
