Best hotel to stay in, suliman was a wonderful greeter, and the americano is super delicious definitely would recommend

I had an excellent stay at the Fairmont Hotel, and the overall standard of service was exactly what one expects from the Fairmont brand—refined, attentive, and consistently professional. A special mention must go to Sulaiman, whose service genuinely stood out. He was exceptionally helpful throughout my stay, offering thoughtful recommendations and taking the time to ensure everything was handled with care and precision. His approach was warm, respectful, and highly professional, making the experience feel personal rather than transactional. Sulaiman’s attention to detail and genuine concern for guest comfort reflects very well on the hotel and its service culture. Staff like him are the reason guests return. I would not hesitate to recommend the Fairmont and look forward to staying again.

First time in Qatar, after a number of visa denials over like 7 years when my wife and I travel together (the officials still have to explain this, as I hold a British passport and the only reason I can see is that my wife holds only a Nigerian one) and Qatar Airways is my favorite way of travelling (for either business or pleasure). Anyway, I quibble. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the Fairmont Doha. From the design of the building, to the service right from the door (thanks Enoch from Kenya), the service of my room (thanks to Dhan Raj, a very personable young man from Nepal and his supervisor Neeraj), the complimentary fruits, nuts and water, the restaurant staff who were always at attention, good food and the meeting facilities that we used while there, I could hardly fault anything. Also an excellent gym, which I used quite a bit, plus a sauna/steam room. Even the bed didn't want to let go of me (it was so comfortable). Only challenge I had was with the TV which didn't work well with the provided remote - it didn't completely switch off and I am sensitive to light when trying to sleep. Anyway, issue rectified on the second night by providing a new remote control unit. Overall, great place for a man like me to chill-lax and have a good work-ation. Also great for couples - young or old.
