Raffles Doha

Just wow! From the moment you enter, it feels incredibly special. The staff make you feel like VIPs. We spent three nights here, ringing in the New Year 2026. The pool area is gorgeous; however, it loses the sun in the afternoon, so we walked over to the Fairmont next door and were able to use their facilities, which was fantastic. The rooms are stunning and very high-tech, from a heated toilet seat that pops up as you approach to choosing the scent you want the room to have. There are Dyson appliances for your hair and even your own bar in the room. It was so impressive. I hope we get to return again one day; it was truly such a special trip.

During my previous stay at Raffles a few years ago, I experienced several issues and initially decided not to return. However, I recently chose to give the hotel another chance during a trip with my friends — and I’m glad I did. This stay was exceptional. The team was welcoming, the service was efficient, and the facilities were impeccably clean. Raffles truly made up for my past experience, and I will certainly continue to stay there in the future.

Whilst the surroundings are sumptuous and beautiful, the value and service could be better for the afternoon tea. Cakes and savoury bites were lovely but only one pot of tea per person included, and we were nearly finished when we still hadn’t had our welcome drink so we had to ask for it. Then we got charged 400QAR instead of the advertised 350QAR on their own website. When I queried this I was told ‘more things have been added’ but having visited last year I would say quantity is the same.

A stunningly beautiful hotel, exquisite in taste, exceptionally clean with a focus on relaxation, customer satisfaction is at the forefront and the staff are ultra helpful and ultra professional, nothing is too much trouble. Our suite is absolutely magnificent and the whole experience has been beyond my expectations from the sumptuous breakfast (Lamia Kadeck who took so much care towards us) to an amazing Spa, restaurants, poolside and the stunning upper viewing platform which also caters for live music. 1st class is the minimal standard.

The host and hostess were absolutely fantastic. The host Sulhaiman was so helpful and even took professional photos of us. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Definitely worth it to come here. Will never forget this experience.
