The Ritz-Carlton, Doha

I was unsure about staying here as the outside of the building looks a little dated, but it's decorated very nicely inside. The lifts work really smoothly for a big hotel. Huge rooms rooms, that are very clean, with a big rainfall shower and nice Diptyque toiletries. Only negative of the room is the small balcony with one chair, but not a big deal. Breakfast is fantastic - incredible selection and service. It's like dining at a Michelin star restaurant at times. Staff like Dila are great. Proper coffee, on a La Marzocco machine, and eggs to order, smoothies, homemade pastries, granola, fruit etc. Dinner is OK - not bad, but not amazing. Free water and soft Kids areas is a nice addition, plus they put a tent in room for kids and there's also movie nights. Staff like Lubna are great in the kids club. Outdoor pool areas could do with a refresh, but lots of pools and waterfall is a nice touch. Indoor pool is fantastic. Spa area is seriously lux. Overall a great experience: luxury rooms, superb service and excellent breakfast.

This hotel is one of the most luxurious hotels in Doha. It has an excellent location and comfortable rooms with excellent amenities. The breakfast is sumptuous with variety of options for all tastes. The service is unparalleled.

We spent 3 nights at the Ritz Carlton Doha in February. The location was great and the hotel is very elegant and welcoming . The room we had was large and had a lovely view of the marina. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable with very good amenities. I was looked after very well be Eric the food and beverage manager in Lagoon restaurant, as I am gluten and dairy free, and this was no problem. There was plenty of choice for me . All the team in the restaurant were very friendly and Weal was particularly helpful. Eating in the Tent restaurant in the evening was a wonderful experience during Ramadan. The atmosphere in the ballroom was great with the musicians. The food was delicious . We enjoyed the pool area and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. Overall we loved our stay and were fortunate to leave 3 days before the war trouble started, but sure things would not have changed too much.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Doha was genuinely amazing from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and what impressed us most was the personal touch. From the moment we arrived, they knew our children’s names and made all of us feel welcome and valued. It created a very warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. We stayed in a suite which had a lovely view and plenty of space for the four of us. It made a big difference having the extra room, and we felt very comfortable throughout the stay. The food was excellent, and we especially enjoyed eating at The Tent. The live music in the evenings created a very relaxed atmosphere and made meals there even more enjoyable. What impressed us most was the staff. Everyone was friendly and professional, and you could tell they genuinely cared. Small things they did each day made a big difference and didn’t go unnoticed. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would happily recommend The Ritz-Carlton Doha, especially for families. We would definitely return.
