Casa de Campo Resort & Villas

An incredibly delayed review! Meant to post this in August! We got back from a week at Casa de Campo with our three daughters (14, 12, 9). We’ve travelled often to nice five-star all-inclusive resorts (Excellence, Dreams, etc style chains). Below is a quick overview of the pros and cons. Pro 1: The best service that we’ve ever had. Everyone is attentive, professional, and works extremely hard to ensure that you are looked after. Excellent spoken English too, very few miscommunications. Special mention to Argentina and Johan at the Cana pool, Julio at the beach, Edwin at Piazzetta, and Milkey and Britannia at the Cana restaurant. But honestly everyone was exceptional. Pro 2: Food and drinks. Hard to overstate how well done the food quality is, and the range of wonderful wines (ie expensive rose from France on the regular all-inclusive wine menu). Con: every room comes with a golf cart and this is because it is really far from the main hotel to get to the beach or any of the other restaurants. At least a 10 minute golf cart ride but likely 20 minutes if you want to get from the main resort area to the outer edges. For what it’s worth, my girls actually loved this… They thought the golf carts were really fun and they didn’t mind the drive. But in theory, if you had to get back to your room because you forgot something and at the beach or you weren’t as interested in golf cart driving this could get tiresome. Also, as compared to traditional all-inclusive resorts, the level of entertainment was minimal. No bingo, no water aerobics, no salsa or any other types of fun-but potentially unclassy activities-happening here. Overall, as long as you don’t mind the longer travel time between the main hotel and the various activities/beach/restaurants and a quieter resort overall, I really have never experienced food quality or service levels like we did at Casa de Campo. Would certainly return and highly recommend.

Casa de Campo is truly my favorite place on earth. The staff at the resort is what all other resorts staffs worldwide should strive to be. Can't wait to go back.

I had a fantastic time hanging out at the pool bar with Roberto and Leonel who’s kept the phenomenal drinks coming. Freshly ground leaves on the mojito. A must try. Also recommend the Miami Vice!

The La Cana pool team are amazing. There is nothing they won’t do to make you feel looked after. From the fab bar staff to the team that look after pools, loungers and towels to the fantastic waiters, nothing was too much trouble. The drinks are amazing and food is scrumptious!

The entire trip was amazing! Everyone was made our stay so easy and the facilities were incredible. The employees were so kind and we had 2 amazing drivers throughout of stay. Sergio and Luis. They made all our rides fun and informative. We could not have asked for a better experience.
