Hyatt Hacienda Del Mar

This a beautiful resort in Puerto Rico! I went recently with my Mom, teenage son, young adult daughter and her boyfriend. We got two rooms. We both had full kitchens, living room, separate bedroom and a balcony. The rooms were spacious. Bathroom had two sinks! Toilet is in a separate room from shower with its own sink. There is a safe in the room to keep valuables. Everything was immaculately clean! Beds are really comfortable and there is a pull out couch. There is an iron and a washer and dryer in each suite. ALL of the staff is excellent! Everyone is warm, friendly and helpful. There is plenty of activities to do. The pool is wonderful and the beach area is well maintained and has beautiful views. We always felt safe on the property. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes away if you want to use the kitchen. You can even grill on the property. My only wish is if there were more food options. There is a bar restaurant which is good but wish there was more authentic Puerto Rican food available on the grounds. Otherwise o have no complaints!

The room is exquisite: spacious, luxurious, new and clean! And equipped with complete necessities with washer and dryer (sharing with your neighbor). The staff is super friendly, polite (no attitude) and helpful. People in Puerto Rico in general are friendly; it made the visit very pleasant. The only misunderstanding was when I asked them to clean the floor (I meant vacuum/sweep), they mopped the floor with clorox! And complained a few times with neighbors who partied past 10pm or just loud in general. The resort is very clean, beautiful and pleasant. The view of the beach with palm trees is very pretty and relaxing. It's a 5 star for me compared to Florida resorts.

The service of this hotel is horrible . They don't consider any medical or family emergency . I had a reservation with this hotel and due to medical emergency i tried to modify my reservation but unfortunately hotel manager is ruthless . Mrs. Rodriguez who is the manager of this property doesn't willing to help her guest. So you have to pay the penalty regardless of the situation even you have DEATH in your family . i understand every hotel has cancellation policy but there is always exception to that in the event of emergency EXCEPT THIS HOTEL !! I guess this hotel manager NEVER had any family emergency !!!!!!

I felt welcomed the moment I stepped into the lobby and when I noticed a small isssue with my room I was moved immediately to another room. On my second night I noticed I could ask for a yoga mat, free weights and a sound machine which they brought to me to use free of change for the week. What a bonus this was. The front desk was kind, respectful and joyful! the grounds beautiful. I'll be back! The food at Mahi Mahi on sight was fantastic as well. Next time I hope to see the wild horses in the area!

Our family stay in April 2024 was exactly what we needed! The property is lush and beautifully maintained — think palm trees, sparkling pools, and plenty of spots to unwind. My balcony faced the ocean, and waking up to those views every morning was magical. The beach was just steps away, the pools were never too crowded, and the grounds felt like a true getaway. Whether lounging poolside or sipping drinks under the stars, this spot delivered peaceful island vibes from start to finish.I definitely recommend this hotel/resort!
