Hyperion Hotel Dresden am Schloss

Das Hotel ist sehr empfehlenswert, die Zimmer sind außergewöhnlich groß und die sehr hohe Deckenhöhe erhöht das gute Platzgefühl noch weiter. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend, das Brot ist hochwertig und die große Auswahl hat bei uns keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Der einzige Kritikpunkt hat nichts mit dem Hotel selber zu tun, aber dass die Kirchenglocken in unmittelbarer Nähe alle 15min die ganze Nacht durch (kurz) läuten, um die Zeit anzusagen oder warum auch immer, nervt einfach nur und führt dazu das man, trotz ruhiger Innenhoflage, dann doch die ganze Nacht das Fenster geschlossen halten muss. Da wacht man morgens dann leider nicht so gut erholt auf. Ich kann nur hoffen das sich das nächtliche Glockenläuten auf die Zeit vor/um Weihnachten beschränkt, dann kommen wir gerne zu einer anderen Jahreszeit wieder!

This is a nice hotel near the center of town. Lots of shopping nearby. Christmas markets were very close. Very large and clean room. Breakfast was good, but get there early.

A very nice hotel. We had a room at the peak of the roof, on the 5th floor. So part of the room had a peaked ceiling. The other part near the bed and bathroom was standard ceiling. The room was great. Everything you need, including a free minibar. However, I think Germans don't believe in cold drinks, because the refrigerator did not get cold. The hotel.is right in the heart of old town, right off the square. Lots of shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. We were impressed. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Great location and just the most fantastic room. Parking on site and really helpful reception staff. Only lost a star because the breakfast was very expensive.
