Arman was super super helpful and friendly. he could not have done enough for us. he's an absolute credit to the business, to the resort. we will definitely be back. we were treated like royalty and the staff, the amenities, everything was second to none. Arman needs a raise.

An absolutely exceptional stay at Bab Al Shams — perfection from beginning to end! ✨ Every single detail of our stay was wonderful, from the moment we checked in. The hotel is stunning, the room was beautiful, the little touches were so thoughtfully considered, and the level of service made the entire experience feel truly special. You know when a place gets everything right? This is that place. Dinner at Ninive was a real highlight. The atmosphere was incredible, the music was fantastic, and the food was quite simply out of this world. We ordered the slow-cooked shoulder of lamb to share, which arrived as an absolutely enormous portion (we gave it our very best effort!), and it was unbelievably delicious. A truly memorable dining experience where the ambience is just as impressive as the food. Breakfast was equally brilliant, with a fantastic combination of Mediterranean and Arabic cuisine. The buffet was exceptional, with such an incredible variety that there was genuinely something for every taste. Everything you could possibly wish for, beautifully presented and delicious. But the absolute icing on the cake was my hammam experience with Carol. Honestly, what a treat! I was scrubbed, bathed, lathered and luxuriously looked after from beginning to end. Carol was the perfect combination of gentle yet firm, professional yet funny, and made the whole experience feel both indulgent and wonderfully personal. I came out feeling like an entirely new human being — quite possibly the cleanest I have ever been in my life! 😂 It was one of those experiences that stays with you long after you leave, and Carol deserves a special mention for making it so fabulous. Bab Al Shams manages to deliver that rare combination of genuine warmth, impeccable attention to detail, beautiful surroundings and absolute luxury without ever losing its sense of hospitality. Every element of our stay felt considered, effortless and special. If you’re looking for a truly luxurious desert escape, I cannot recommend Bab Al Shams highly enough. The hotel, the food, the atmosphere, the service and that hammam experience all deserve the highest praise. We left feeling thoroughly spoiled, wonderfully relaxed and already wanting to return. A huge thank you to the entire team — and especially to Carol for such a fabulous hammam. An absolute gem of an experience from start to finish. Five stars simply don’t feel like enough! ✨
