Absolutely incredible experience for 5 days. Everything about the hotel was superb. The staff, from the front desk to our butlers were incredibly friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make us comfortable.

WOW... just wow

I can't say enough positive things about our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, and the staff was exceptional. Our room wasn't ready, so we were treated to a complimentary lunch as we awaited our room and the cappuccino, fruit, and salad were so fresh. Once ready, we were escorted to our room to find our baggage already there and a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a cake and rose petals surrounding them to celebrate our anniversary. The room was very clean, and everything working as it should. Every encounter with staff was nothing but positive and I only wish we could experience this level of customer service in our country. We dined in the Sky bar and the food was amazing and staff so very polite. The pools were pristine and service on point. Quite entertaining to see people ran off from the area around the hotel, keeping it clear for your guests! I could go on and on... but to close, from the moment we arrived, to the moment we departed, the entire experience was absolutely perfect and we will cherish memories made there forever. AMAZING property!

⭐ 1-Star Review – Extremely Disappointing Experience at Burj Al Arab, Dubai

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We had an incredibly disappointing experience during our recent visit to Hotel Burj Al Arab, which I would not expect from a hotel that claims to offer world-class luxury and service. We made a last-minute reservation at their restaurant GILT for 9:30 PM for four people. Upon arriving by car, we realized the menu wasn’t to our liking and were surprised to learn there was a minimum spend of AED 300 per person — something that was not made clear at the time of booking. As we didn’t wish to dine there under those terms, we decided to leave. When attempting to exit, the valet informed us of a valet charge — something we were never made aware of when we entered. We returned inside to speak to someone and explain the situation, only to be met with complete indifference and dismissiveness. The concierge manager (who refused to give her name) was unhelpful and uninterested in resolving the issue. I requested to speak with the duty manager, who, shockingly, refused to even come out and speak to us. We waited over 40 minutes, hoping someone in the team would show some empathy or basic hospitality, but no one came. Finally, we had no choice but to pay the unjust valet charge. To make things worse, the ticket clearly stated AED 250, yet we were charged AED 265. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was casually told that the charge had “recently gone up.” Only after insisting did a manager finally come forward — not to resolve the issue, but to simply confirm the error and still insist on payment.

Burj Al-Arab

We felt we were being rushed through the hotel from one room to another, the king and queen suites, but not the actual hotel rooms. I booked food, but we never got to have it, the taxi was calling us after the hour that he was waiting for us, we then had to wait for him as he had got another pick up. This was the most expensive excursion I had booked and we felt it wasn’t worth the price I paid.
