Jumeirah Al Naseem

We have genuinely lost count of how many times we have stayed with the Jumeirah group over the last 20 years. We normally stay every year at Dar Al Masyaf, but due to the renovations this year we were moved to Al Naseem. Although we have visited Al Naseem many times over the years, we had never actually stayed in the rooms . The hotel certainly has the WOW factor, regardless of how many times you visit. From the moment we booked, the communication from the hotel was incredibly efficient, professional and always completely up to date. Leading up to our holiday, I was in contact with several members of the team regarding various requests, and I honestly cannot express how fantastic they were. They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests when they really didn't have to. Adam, Will, Ryan and Lijans — thank you once again for the most perfect hospitality you provided. Lijans, it was also great to finally meet you in person! On arrival, we were assisted by Carl, who was extremely professional and helpful, making our check-in smooth and efficient. As we had arrived early, we were also offered complimentary breakfast, which was such a lovely touch. We were allocated a second-floor room overlooking the pool, which was perfect for our family of three. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean and had plenty of wardrobe space. As you will see from my previous Tripadvisor reviews, one of the main reasons we return year after year is the staff and the exceptional level of service. This year was absolutely no different . Our 16-night stay was nothing short of exceptional. It is always wonderful to see familiar faces, catch up with people we have known and who have looked after us for many years, while also meeting new members of the team. The hotel and grounds are immaculate, as you would expect from Jumeirah, and the overall standard throughout the resort remains outstanding. We were staying on a half-board basis and, once again, the quality of the restaurants was on another level. During our stay we ate at Kayto, Pai Thai, Dhow & Anchor, Fika and Bella Vita. Pai Thai was exceptional, so much so that we chose to eat there three times during our 16-night stay. I have written a separate review for Pai Thai because it really deserves its own recognition. A huge thank you to Ryan, Mary, Timmy, Istianna and Shehan for your recommendations, for the balloons and cake for our daughter's birthday, and for always making us feel so welcome. You went above and beyond and helped make her birthday incredibly special. We tended to walk to most places during our stay, but whenever we needed a buggy or abra in the evening, we never had any difficulty getting one. A special thank you to Barhul and Rebecca, who took my daughter on what seemed like endless buggy rides during the day! Barhul, we have known you for a number of years now and you are always such a pleasure to see and speak to. It is these personal connections with the staff that make returning to Jumeirah feel like coming home. Beach & Pool Team I also feel that the beach and pool team don't receive enough recognition on Tripadvisor for what they do. This team starts work from around 7:30am in the heat and humidity, working tirelessly to ensure every guest is looked after. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Whether it is bringing fresh ice and water, moving sun loungers between the sun and shade, ensuring towels are perfectly laid out or simply checking that guests have everything they need, the level of service is consistently excellent. We also ordered food on the beach during our stay, which was of an extremely high quality and delivered quickly. Rauf, Hamif, Rasel, Purna and Raj — thank you. You really are a fantastic team and we always look forward to seeing you again. And, of course, not forgetting Serge, who we have known for a number of years. You lead such a great team, and I always enjoy our chats during our holidays. It is always a pleasure to see you. The Palmery Breakfast at The Palmery was also outstanding. There was a huge variety of food and drinks, everything was extremely fresh, and there were plenty of options being prepared to order. Because we tend to get up early, we normally ate around 8:30am and never had to wait for a table. Drinks were served quickly and, after just the first day, our usual drinks were remembered and ordered before we had even sat down. This was largely thanks to Emad. Emad, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you. Your service skills are exemplary. You always have a smile on your face, you are fantastic to talk to, and nothing goes unnoticed. Your attention to detail and genuine care for your guests are second to none. You also made such a huge effort for our daughter's birthday, and we are incredibly grateful. You went above and beyond to make her day so special. Chef Mohamed and Chef Hanna, thank you both for making sure we had everything we needed and for checking in with us throughout breakfast to ensure everything was perfect — which it was! Your attention to detail and willingness to check whether we needed anything else was very much appreciated. Until next time… Rudolphe — you have a fantastic team. It is the people who make Jumeirah what it is, and the staff are a huge part of the reason we continue to return year after year. After 20 years of visiting the Jumeirah properties, the fact that we continue to see familiar faces, build relationships with staff and feel so genuinely welcomed says everything. So, will we be coming back next year? Of course! We have already booked 17 nights for August 2027, and we are hoping to return again in May as well. A huge thank you to everyone at Al Naseem. I choose the Jumeirah resorts every time I visit Dubai, which has been many over the past 20 years. I would usually write a review when I am back in the UK, but I am still in Dubai and feel the need to write it whilst I am still here. We had booked to stay in the Al Qasr, my favourite of all the resorts , so to find out that it’s closed for renovation was disappointing. What made it even more disappointing is that we weren’t told that it was closed nor is it advertised on their website , we found out because I messaged them to ask where the club lounge would be held because it says it shut on the website. We were then told we were being put into the mini al Salem . After advising them this is not where we want to stop they put us in the Al Naseem, I was happy as I have stopped here before and it was a superb holiday. But superb it isn’t anymore. Nearly everything is closed, you can’t hotel hop anymore, restaurants and bars are shut in every hotel and one half of the Naseem is totally blocked off, so are the majority of the other hotels and the Souk Madinat. The club lounge is shut and it is now in the lounge in the hotel foyer. I would not recommend paying extra. When using the club lounge before the array of food in the evening was great, this time we were given 4 canopies on a plate and that’s it, because they advised they have one chef serving both the club lounge and the restaurant . There is no choice like there use to be. We advised them that is not what we paid for and they changed us to half board instead of the club lounge access. We ended up using our half board by the pool every day. Most days we had to complain about the breakfaat in the main buffet restaurant being cold, as all the burners under the food are out. We went there one evening and said never again, all the food had a film over it where it had been sitting around and again it was cold. The hotels are only at 25% full and I totally get it because of the current environment , but the hotel needs to be honest and just say that and let customers know that only a small proportion of the hotels are open. Stop keeping telling everyone that there are renovations going on in every hotel, we get it because of the whole situation in the Middle East but please be honest with us as every guest we spoke to had complained about something. Jumeirah we understand but for us guests who still support you during this time , you need to do better!

The staff are simply amazing especially the Al mandhar lounge staff and the doorman Gervase. The kids really enjoyed the kids area. I would definitely be staying again.

A huge thank you to Emad, one of the most incredible servers we’ve ever met. He went above and beyond to make my sisters and me feel so special during breakfast. What touched us most was how he surprised my sister with a beautiful birthday celebration, bringing his colleagues to sing Happy Birthday and preparing a special pancake for her. 🥹❤️ Emad, you didn’t just serve us breakfast—you created a beautiful memory we will never forget. You are truly an incredible asset to The Palmery, and we hope to see you as a manager one day. You deserve it! Thank you for everything, Emad. ❤️
