Unfortunately, our experience with Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab was extremely disappointing despite the hotel’s luxury positioning. The booking was cancelled due to a flight cancellation related to the regional situation. On 11 March 2026, the hotel officially confirmed that the refund would be processed within 30–45 working days. However, more than 2.5 months have now passed, and the funds have still not been returned. After the promised refund period expired, communication from the hotel became extremely poor. Numerous emails were ignored, phone calls went unanswered, and no clear information regarding the refund timeline was provided. For a hotel operating in the luxury segment, this level of customer service and handling of financial obligations is unacceptable. Guests should not have to escalate matters to the Department of Economy & Tourism and consumer protection authorities simply to receive a refund that was officially approved by the hotel itself.

This hotel has set a new bar. We love staying at Jumeirah hotels because everything about the experience is always perfect but the Marsa Al Arab is something else. Wow. We had a suite which came with a personal butler service and the trip was for my wife's 50th Birthday celebration. On arrival we were made to feel like royalty from start to finish, its even difficult to name individual names from these hand picked collective group of professional people. The staff play a massive part in your experience when at a hotel and that combined with this gorgeous hotel makes it incomparable to anything else. Its perfection.

Our stay at Marsa Al Arab became even more special thanks to our Butler, Rinbay. He was truly exceptional — incredibly professional, attentive, caring, and always one step ahead. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made every detail feel effortless. From organizing reservations to handling every request with warmth and precision, he created an experience that felt deeply personalized and seamless. His level of care, dedication, and attention to detail is rare and truly reflects world-class hospitality. Rinbay didn’t just do his job as a Butler — he elevated our entire stay and made us feel genuinely looked after. People like him are the reason guests return.
