Reviews for Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab

Beautiful hotel, but service fell short.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We chose Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab expecting the experience of a hotel ranked No. 15 in The World’s 50 Best Hotels. Breakfast was excellent, but the service did not consistently meet that standard. When the restaurants were closed between lunch and dinner, we were told food in the lobby would take 60–90 minutes. No alternative was offered, so we went to the beach to find a meal. On another day, I could not reach Reception by phone for 20–25 minutes. We also never received the promised update about our room. I share this as someone with over 30 years of experience in hotels, both as a guest and as a general manager. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these gaps. Celebrating our 50th Birthday and 25 years Marriage

Having just returned from Marsa Al Arab we can only describe this hotel as exceptional, best hotel we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at most of Jumeriah hotels in Dubai, this hotel is a step above with everything from decor, arrival, staff, attention to detail and breakfasts and the restaurants we tried were nothing short of WOW, from our arrival until we left we were made to feel special and staff went above and beyond, Hiab at reception, with check in, Mohammed Almoosawi at breakfast, Mehmet and his team at Madame Li, restaurant, pool staff and special mention to Alina assistant front office manageress was exceptional and made sure our stay was special and this is the difference on making us as guests feel special and want to come back again, all staff were so pleasant and genuinely happy, staff on the buggy transfers, staff at the front door, this hotel will take your holiday experience to another level, the one introduction we would like to see would be a club level option, same as offered at JBH and Al Naseem with drinks happy hours, but this is only a personal preference

Everything was amazing - from Location to Amenities - especially the staffs, they indeed assets to the Jumeirah. Allow me to mention some : Mariia, all the booking preferences made possible; Joy , Olga and Service One made excellent prepping of the room; Chaimae & Deni both wonderful on their job with hassle free check in and a VIP feeling guest compliment of the Butler. Again, it was indeed a wonderful and memorable experience.

Unmatched Service at Marsa

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Our stay at the Marsa Hotel in Dubai was nothing short of extraordinary truly one of the finest hospitality experiences we’ve ever had. Having traveled to over 80 countries, we’ve stayed in countless luxury properties, yet this one stands out in a league of its own. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was exceptional, but what made this stay unforgettable was the genuine care and thoughtfulness of the team. A very special thank you goes to Ilaria Villari, who went above and beyond to make what seemed impossible happen. She graciously arranged a complimentary upgrade to a suite, ensuring our family could comfortably stay together while still having a separate space for our baby to sleep. That level of attentiveness made all the difference to us. We would also like to warmly recognize Amanda, our butler, who was simply outstanding. She was available around the clock, always kind, proactive, and incredibly efficient, handling what felt like a thousand requests with a smile and effortless professionalism. Nothing was ever too much trouble. This combination of luxury, personalized service, and heartfelt hospitality made our stay truly exceptional. Without hesitation, we can say this has been the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. We will absolutely be returning and recommending the Marsa Hotel to anyone seeking a flawless stay in Dubai.

Luxury Without Flexibility or Recognition of Loyalty

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Unfortunately, my experience this time was extremely disappointing. I booked a room for two nights for approximately AED 12,000. On my final day, I requested a late check-out until 5:00 PM due to work commitments, as I needed to leave and return to the hotel during the day. Despite asking several times, I was only granted an extension until 1:00 PM. What surprised me even more was that I personally checked the hotel’s official website that same day and rooms were still available for booking. I therefore could not understand such a lack of flexibility, particularly as I am a regular guest with a long history of stays at Jumeirah Hotels. Unfortunately, this experience left me with the very disappointing impression that the financial side has become far too much of a priority, at the expense of genuine guest service and recognition of loyalty. When a guest pays approximately AED 12,000 for a two-night stay and still cannot receive a reasonable level of flexibility despite room availability, it is extremely disappointing. After this experience, I will not be staying at Jumeirah Hotels again, nor do I wish to continue as a guest of the group.
