Fantastic location with direct mall access and absolutely amazing staff from the door to the front desk and lounge. Sadly, my one-bedroom suite had a persistent musty smell, like damp furniture or carpets, which is surprising for a hotel of this class. While the price is not cheap, the warm and professional service helped make up for the disappointment.

We were welcomed like royalty by Begum from the front desk. Her explanations were perfect, she took the time to bring us to our room. And throughout our short stay, every time we met her she always had kind words. Keep the good job Begum! We had an Executive Room which is very large and nicely appointed. The only negative is the fact that it overlooks the Sheik Zayed highway which is quite noisy in the evening. Executive Club was nice, with a reasonably good selection of offerings. Only weakness is the wine. Very disappointing red which should not be offered by Kempinski. The location is perfect when you want, like us, to go enjoy Ski Dubaï. You may go see the penguins then go back to your room for some warmth, to go back to the slopes later.

The hotel is tucked away in the mall however it has a world of its own. The staff are very friendly and everything was neat and proper. You cannot feel that this is an older hotel (compared to its neighbors in the area) it is well maintained and well kept. We took the fitness room which in our opinion was worth the upgrade money (it has a techno gym bench with weights and a techno gym cycle which you can do group classes on). The food was great in the club lounge for breakfast and the spa is also a must. The kids loved the place and will definitely come back in the future

Staycation with friends. Excellent accomodations great pool service and enjoyable as there is enough shade (important especially during summer time). Good restaurant. Room extremely neat. Cleaning personnel remind me a book from Robin Sharma "the leader without title" 2 of room service men fit into the definition and deserve congratulations: Rashid and Sunil. Fast and perfectionist looking at every details. Excellent breakfast. Convenient connection with mall of Emirates.

I would like to thank everyone, from the doorman to the reception (Mr Tarek and Mr Jaad) all the way to the executive lounge (Mr Haitham) and reservation team (Mr Mina), and for housekeeping (Mr.Meena & Ms Sawsaw). I would highly recommend the hotel for families and solo travellers. Thank you.
