One&Only One Za'abeel Dubai

Excellent room and room service. Friendly staff, variety of restaurants, good location. Unfortunately the big pool was under maintenance

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the level of service I experienced during my recent stay at One&Only One Za’abeel. I specifically chose your hotel for its proximity to GITEX Global and its established reputation as a leading 5-star property. Unfortunately, the service I received fell far short of the standards that define the One&Only brand. From the outset, my stay was marked by several issues that compromised my comfort and overall experience. The air conditioning in my room was not functioning properly, and despite my repeated complaints, it took three days before the matter was addressed. Although I received an apology letter and a small gesture following this issue, the delay in resolving such a basic comfort concern was unacceptable. Furthermore, the inconsistencies in room service and dining were deeply disappointing. Calls to room service often went unanswered, trays were left uncleared for long periods, and when meals arrived, they were frequently incomplete, poorly presented, or missing essential items — such as sugar with coffee or covered bread. On more than one occasion, I had to send meals back due to errors, and at times, I simply chose not to complain further because there were no viable alternatives. Such repeated lapses demonstrate a lack of attention to detail, coordination, and guest care that is inconsistent with a 5-star standard. I had expected a seamless and refined experience that reflects the prestige and reputation of One&Only, but instead, I felt the level of service was more aligned with that of a far lower-rated property. I am not seeking compensation; however, I do expect a formal acknowledgment of these issues and reassurance that corrective measures will be taken to ensure future guests are not subjected to similar shortcomings. I trust that my feedback will be treated seriously and that you will take the necessary steps to uphold the excellence your brand promises.

I informed them the issues, Infinity pool is missing, Chef Mehmet Gurs is not there. It was my two favorite parts. Sad !

I had the most amazing experience celebrating my birthday at One&Only Za’abeel. Every detail was thoughtfully curated — from the breathtaking views to the warm and welcoming staff who provided truly world-class service. A wonderful stay from check in til check out. The level of service, standard of rooms and quality of food were exceptional. Worth every dirham!
