I stayed at One&Only One Za'abeel for 3 nights and was initially very impressed. The hotel is undeniably luxurious with stunning architecture, amazing views, delicious food, and a good breakfast spread. Its location is excellent—just a simple zebra crossing away from the World Trade Centre, which made attending my event very convenient. However, my departure experience left a bitter aftertaste. I had an event to attend at WTC and left my luggage at the reception, clearly instructing the staff to take good care of it as it contained expensive items. To my shock, when I returned, I found my luggage kept outside the hotel building, in the non-air-conditioned area outside lobby entrance. The intense heat completely ruined some items, including chocolates. I was deeply annoyed and disappointed seeing my luggage kept outside, but couldn’t file a formal complaint as I had to rush to catch my flight. Another concern was the lack of guest independence which i faced during my stay. While attentive service is appreciated, this felt like over-surveillance. The moment you move around the property, staff frequently approach and ask where you're going and are if you staying here with room no. It made the experience feel intrusive rather than luxurious and sonetimes annoying. I had truly planned to write a glowing review after my stay, but this overall experience completely overshadowed the positives. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these concerns to offer a more inclusive and respectful experience and also handle the customer baggage with care.

Great stay and top-notch friendly and warm hospitality! Thank you very much to Lovelly Doll for helping me at a conference with the elevators, great support when guiding hotel guests to find the right pick up transfers and amazing hospitality. 💎👍 Moorthy Mudaliar was amazing in explaining the hotel and genuine hospitality at this amazing hotel! I highly recommend both and thank them very much for the great stay. 🙏🌟

We had high expectations of this stay and unfortunately have had a mixed experience. We are unsure whether we would stay again (and definitely wouldn’t book a suite as benefits seem marginal service wise). Positives: - New hotel - Design detail exquisite - spacious suite and fantastic cosmetic range (shampoo etc.) - loved the Dyson hairdryer and valet cupboard idea - Level of amenities (memory foam mats on turndown, fluffy slippers, hat and tote in the cupboard) - Views are all encompassing (we booked a Za’abeel suite and got upgraded to an urban suite) - Breakfast quality, service and variety of the best we have had (only exceeded by Waldorf Astoria in Bangkok) - cute instagrammable kids club with fantastic and attentive staff - longevity experience and spa is very innovative Negatives: - Industrial service (no bespoking e.g. no slippers for kids or kids packs like we have received elsewhere) - wait time for everything (check-in took almost an hour with no signposting and a very confusing process with an escalation required) - no turndown treats (only on checkin and apparently day before departure) - lift structure is a labyrinth (three sets of lifts to get a lot of places in hotel) - you feel like you are a number in a very busy hotel - unclear what the amenities are in the “club lounge” which is just another place to order lunch etc. -L
