One&Only Royal Mirage

One&Only Royal Mirage is a truly stunning property with expansive, beautifully landscaped grounds that make you feel like you’re in a private oasis. The hotel offers seamless pick-up and drop-off services within the resort with their own stylish cars, adding to the overall luxurious experience. The interior design of both the lobby and the rooms is absolutely gorgeous — elegant, serene, and inspired by refined Arabian aesthetics. The beach and pool areas are immaculately maintained, clean, and very chic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Breakfast is satisfying and the resort features a charming Arabic café offering quality shisha in a tranquil setting. However, the main downside is the limited variety of food at the restaurants. The in-house dining options are fairly standard and don’t quite match the luxury feel of the rest of the resort, so for more culinary experiences, it’s better to dine outside. All in all, if you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat with strong Arabic charm and serenity, this resort is highly recommended.

We have stayed at the Palace many times previously always opting for club rooms. These are now Manzil which we had booked. Our arrival at the hotel from the overnight flight was very disappointing. No private check no drink offered and was advised breakfast would be an additional charge. Our early request check in was confirmed and we were shown our room which was lovely. Within minutes of being in our room the alarms went off we were not aware what this was as nothing was mentioned at reception. We tried calling reception several times to find out if we should go downstairs no reply. Eventually the alarms stopped. Whilst unpacking we found hair in the fridge so I rang reception and this time got through. A man arrived (no name badge as these have now been removed) to remove the hair. He advised the alarm was a test. We emailed management who responded and We received a call from Anna who listened to our issues and arranged to meet up. Anna was very apologetic and advised we had been let down by the service. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and due to the poor service we were offered a room upgrade to a suite. The room was lovely. We came on holiday to relax and enjoy our holiday but the service received was very poor, it’s the first impressions that count and we were extremely disappointed. The food was either very good or not so good. Olives evening buffet was limited and items were cold and the restaurant had no atmosphere. Drift breakfast was amazing. At the pool My husband asked for bottled water and was told we had already got some which we hadn’t! Water arrived and plonked down on the table no apology given! It’s the little things that have changed dramatically at the palace the lounge on the second floor for Manzil guests never had drinks in the fridge- these were complementary and despite ringing reception to get the fridge replenished whenever we went there the same thing happened. The lounge is tiny when you consider how many Manzil guests use the facility. Many guests had booked the summer delights which included drinks outside for 2 hours our package included drinks in a public bar which was not as nice. Not sure if we would go back there seems to be a lot of cost cutting and the hotel seems a little lost in the direction they are going. Having spoken to several returning guests we were not the only guests disappointed. Staff were either very friendly or unhelpful which is a shame.

We were only here for a night but should have stayed longer. The Residence is beautiful, rooms are spacious and comfortable and we were very well looked after. The spa is one of the best I’ve been to.

This was my 2nd time staying at the O&O The Palace (room 515) and I will definitely return again. What makes this hotel so special, isn’t the truly beautiful surroundings it is the staff. They are so genuinely kind and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. All requests were actioned immediately with a smile, if in person, or a quick reply on Whatapp, which I thought was super efficient and saved walking to reception. A special shout out to Bansilal our room attendant. He was always smiling and would stop working on a room if he heard us come along the corridor to have a little chat. Checking we had everything we needed in the room.The waiting staff in Olives always remembered how we liked our tea/coffee and would help my friend every morning by following her around the buffet carrying her many plates of goodies! Thank you also to the lovely guest services lady (apologies I don’t remember your name) but your help whilst we were there and kind words as we left for the airport brought tears to my friend’s eyes. had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in Dubai at the One&Only. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional and the atmosphere truly luxurious. I especially want to thank the team for the beautiful birthday arrangement — it made my stay even more special and memorable. The staff were incredibly polite, thoughtful, and attentive throughout my stay. Everything from the room to the service exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
