One&Only Royal Mirage

We recently spent two nights at The Residence at One&Only Royal Mirage, a thoroughly distinguished experience from beginning to end. The arrangements were handled with quiet efficiency, and the team reached out ahead of our arrival to ensure every preference was accounted for. Upon check-in, we were received with warmth and discretion, setting a gracious tone for the stay. The Residence itself is exquisite, immaculately kept, tastefully appointed, and delightfully serene. Our suite was generously proportioned, impeccably serviced, and maintained with admirable attention to detail. Small, thoughtful gestures such as the effortless recall of our breakfast preferences did not go unnoticed. Service throughout was polished yet unobtrusive, delivered with the kind of quiet confidence one hopes for but rarely encounters. The dining was elegant and unhurried, and the surrounding facilities from the library to the spa were of an exceptional standard. For those seeking a refined and tranquil retreat, The Royal Mirage offers an experience of rare calibre.

I stayed here in June at The Palace as a solo traveller, after a wonderful experience last June. I would say that in some respects, it was not as good as last year, but there were also some improvements. The hotel had granted my request for an early checkin and a room in the same section as last year which was helpful. Restaurants…. Eau Zone and the Beach Bar & Grill were lovely as usual. Great value on the HB. One of this year’s changes was to add Drift to the inclusive restaurants on HB which was a really nice experience. A beautiful setting, great staff, particularly the front desk team who need a pay rise for tolerating incredible rudeness! The summer evening drinks had moved from the Kasbar to Celebrities. This was an upgrade, as you had the choice of indoors or outdoors at a beautiful location. Although, on the downside, they reduced the quality of the hors d'oeuvres to just being crisps and nuts. Additionally, Fever-Tree tonic was no longer on the menu. Luckily I had my own :-). Last year I probably felt more valued, but I was super lucky. Ultimately, I love the hotel and had a lovely time. I have stayed at lots of hotels in Dubai, this remains in my top 3. Thank you to all the team.

We went for a wonderful Daycation during the weekend at the One and Only Residence and Spa and had such a wonderful family experience. Checking it at the multi-storied Spa, the welcome was so gracious, we were welcomed with a hibiscus drink, got our lockers and went on to spend a delightful morning by the pool with views over the water, enjoyed lovely refreshments - the virgin mojitos were excellent and the fresh fruit platter was perfect - followed by a light lunch. We had booked spa treatments in the afternoon, and mine was a Swedish massage, which was splendid and so relaxing. I enjoyed every second of it. The SPA facilities are genuinely second to none, hygienic, serene, and the therapist was excellent. After a while relaxing with tea and dates, it was time to head to the Beach Bar & Grill for an early dinner. The Beach Bar & Grill is casual; however, the cuisine is highly elevated, featuring an Argentine grill house concept. The view at sunset was magical, the food was superb and the service was outstanding. It is hard to describe every moment of a day; however, the experience was outstanding from beginning to end, and it was a day we will remember for a very long time.

I used the one and only spa and gamma and what a treat. Faten, Hamza, Nopi and Dinara were simply fantastic and made the visit very relaxing.
