One&Only The Palm Dubai

Honest and open review… This was for our honeymoon / 1st wedding anniversary so we wanted it to be special hence why after a lot of searching we decided on this hotel. We saved for 12 months for this trip too and certainly isn’t the normal place we tend to book. The hotel grounds / building…wow. It’s gorgeous. It’s got the tranquil, relaxing feel anyone would want for such a special trip. The staff are always so so friendly and always wanted to help (for someone who isn’t use to this..it was very overwhelming at first) and the team in Zest learnt our names too which is always lovely. The rooms..again wow, lovely and beautifully designed. There was a couple of things that to me for the bar that’s set & price point of this hotel that just needs small tweaks and for us made me give it a 4/5 instead of 5/5. Again maybe it’s just us as for what we were expecting given how special this trip was. Sometimes they didn’t explain the specials in the restaurants so we didn’t know about them. We had to find where things were ourselves, no one showed us where the pools/restaurants were. They come round with fruit / juice / cold towels round the pool but it all seems to happen between 10-11 so if you get there later in the day you miss all of that, nothing seems to be repeated in the afternoon. We weren’t expecting fireworks or anything spectacular but we had told them it was our honeymoon / 1st wedding anniversary pre-arrival yet no one made a fuss or acknowledged it. Overall we had a lovely relaxing stay but given how ‘luxurious’ this hotel is suppose to be we left feeling a little underwhelmed give our expectations and reviews we had read.

The signature scent of the hotel is absolutely out of this world – subtle yet luxurious, and instantly soothing. It truly set the tone for the rest of my stay. One of the many thoughtful touches I appreciated was the incredible shower gel – the fragrance was divine, and I was so delighted when the team kindly offered me a complimentary bottle to take home. It’s little gestures like this that make a big difference. I also had the pleasure of being looked after by Vinu and Ishan at the bar, both of whom were exceptionally polite, attentive, and professional. They made the best margaritas we’ve ever had – perfectly balanced, refreshing, and always served with a smile. Their service made my evenings feel extra special. Throughout my stay, every staff member – from the lobby, restaurants, and reception team to housekeeping – provided flawless service. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests feel cared for. The cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable. My room was stunning – incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and filled with thoughtful touches. The furniture and interior design were breathtaking, combining luxury with comfort in the most beautiful way. This was more than just a holiday – it was an experience of pure indulgence, peace, and exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived to the moment we reluctantly left, our 3-night stay at One&Only The Palm was nothing short of magical. The entire experience was majestic, and though our time there was brief, it truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime escape, one that has effortlessly topped every other hotel experience we've had to date. Let’s start with the property itself, words hardly do it justice. The grounds are beyond stunning, a serene paradise filled with lush greenery that looks like it’s been painted into perfection. Every corner feels like a postcard. It’s hard to imagine such tranquility and natural beauty can exist in the heart of Dubai, but here, it does, effortlessly. Before we even set foot on the property, we were already in great hands thanks to Vanessa, who had previously looked after us at One&Only Royal Mirage. Her impeccable service and attention to detail meant everything was taken care of well in advance, including a very early check-in that made all the difference. Vanessa is truly a gem, nothing is ever too much trouble, and her warm, welcoming nature sets the tone for what’s to come. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and guided through a seamless check-in. I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name who checked us in, but he was absolutely fantastic, professional, gracious, and efficient. We were then introduced to our dedicated host, Farzana, who deserves a very special mention. From the get-go, she was in touch via WhatsApp, ensuring all our needs were met and assisting with reservations and requests throughout our stay. She was always available, incredibly kind, and genuinely cared about making our time exceptional. Around the pool and beach, we were so fortunate to be looked after by Jude, who, in all honesty, stands out as one of the best hotel staff members we’ve ever encountered, anywhere in the world. He got to know us from day one and remembered exactly what we liked. Every day, he went above and beyond to ensure we were completely comfortable. Warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. Jude is a credit to the team and someone who clearly takes great pride in his work. Dining at Zest was another highlight. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner here, and every meal was superb, not just for the delicious food, but for the outstanding service. Thank you to Santosh, Marinell, EJ, and Hassan, who welcomed us each time with genuine smiles and ensured every dining experience was perfect. Housekeeping was also flawless. A big thanks to Akash, who maintained our room immaculately and was always friendly and efficient. And we can’t forget Rakan, who always appeared just at the right moment with the buggy, greeting us with a smile and helping us get around the property with ease and comfort. Every single member of the team contributed to making our stay unforgettable. We felt utterly spoilt from start to finish, and not once did we feel like just another guest, rather, we were treated like family. The level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail sets One&Only The Palm on a level of its own. If I had to fault anything, I simply can’t. This was an experience of a lifetime, and without a doubt, we will 100% be returning. Fabulous hotel. Fabulous team. A truly One&Only experience.

We honestly don't know where to start with our review of this outstanding hotel. It was our second visit and an even better stay than our last. In a year the hotel has made some excellent changes to the menus in the dining outlets and provided a host throughout our stay. The rooms are beautiful and spacious we felt very much at home for 2 weeks. The food was delicious, breakfast and dinner at Zest and dinner at 101 was a pleasure. We don't normally list staff names but we feel they deserve to be mentioned. Thank you to Hassan, Alberto, Fitri, Marinelle, Rosanna, EJ, Akhil, Akash and all the team for looking after us throughout our stay and for catering so well for our dietary requirements. We felt in safe hands. Forever our host is a credit to this hotel she was extremely diligent and professional nothing was too much trouble. She was always happy and has time for guests. She made our stay even more memorable. Leon the assistant director of rooms was so engaging and very kind we thank you for making our holiday experience even more enjoyable especially on our last day. Thank you to Abdul in concierge for always being so friendly and welcoming and to Salman at Safina. The staff are definitely a family here and it was clear to see they work seamlessly together to provide a fantastic service to guests. It was lovely to see some of the staff still here a year on.
