We have just returned from the most wonderful stay at One&Only The Palm and cannot praise the experience highly enough. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful – peaceful, elegant and immaculately maintained – but what truly made our holiday so special was the incredible staff. At a time when there is so much uncertainty and conflict in the world, we felt completely safe and incredibly well looked after throughout our stay. Every member of the team was warm, welcoming and professional, always smiling and creating such a positive atmosphere. We would especially like to thank our host, Noushad, who was exceptional. His kindness, attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more memorable and he is a real credit to the resort. Thank you to everyone at One&Only The Palm for such a special and relaxing holiday. We left feeling grateful and already looking forward to returning

We have been fortunate enough to come to OTP four times now, and with many hotels/ restaurants, the cracks would start to appear. But let me assure you that the OTP has not failed in any area ever since we first arrived. You are assigned a host who greets you upon arrival and is available whenever you need them. Having been before we asked for Andrew. Having been with The One&Only for 15 years I feel it should be re named The One&Andrew. He was our host but I see him more as a friend, like many of the staff. He comes to see you daily either at breakfast or the pool, to catch up, see what your plans are, where he can help, what he can book up. Never in your face which we have experienced at Six Senses. Friendly courteous polite. As I say, a friend! The maintenance of the hotel is first class, everything has its place and is spotless. Grass is cut when you think it is already like a bowling green, sand swept where you cannot even see a shell, used towel bins emptied in toilet areas it seems every 10 minutes. These and lots of different things going on in the background which maybe go unnoticed, but guaranteed someone would complain if they didn’t happen. Rahul Sharma the GM has a fabulous team here. He is also approachable and will spend time to talk to you if you wish. He isn’t sat in an office and letting his staff deal with daily situations and that says a lot about him and the way the staff are. Every member of staff always says hello or good morning/ evening. Everyone seems happy and content in the work, striving to achieve yet never angling for a good word, tip or anything like that. Happy to talk but also aware that you are on holiday and happy to serve. We had an instance where my step son woke with a headache and a high temperature. I spoke to Arshid on the front desk who immediately got hold of the paramedic and within 15 minutes she was at his bedside confirming a fever and ordering pills to help. Even offering to take him to a doctor. The level of service from Arshid in the first instance and then the paramedic was ridiculously high. Obviously you do not expect to need medical attention but I’m not sure that you would get this in many other places. Up at the adult pool we met another of our friends Ashen under the guidance of Rose (Rosio). Fresh cold water whilst at the pool, beds made, umbrella up and down whenever, fruit skewers, smoothie tasters. Nothing too much, great people and again, a friend too. Priority to dinner we visited the lounge for drinks and cocktails, inside or outside, never an issue for the staff. Heaters set up when you feel cold during ‘winter’. Lovely chat with Fay, really lovely lady and tended to our needs daily. Sorry not alcoholics but nice to start the evening with a cocktail. Breakfast and dinner was always a pleasure. 101 and Zest our personal favourites. A big thank you to Mr Hassan and Mr Alberto along with the ever smiling Charu, Tre and eahjea (EJ). Always there to help, always making your day start or end on a good note. Lovely to see staff and friends from holidays before, showing their commitment to OTP. I hope all of them continue to do well and get any promotions when available. Finally I would like to highlight our housekeeping lady, Maria. Our room was always kept spotless. Always knocking and presenting herself if she thought we may be in our room. Always coming back for turn down at a time to suit us not her. Amazing woman. Probably like all of housekeeping but she was our lady so I wanted to high light her. There is so much to like about OTP and very very little not to like! There is only one thing I can mention which is that it is difficult to get a plug inserted under the mirror in the dressing room though Andrew had no issues, just us! That is how little there is too fault, a plug!! Thank you again to everyone who makes our holidays so special. God willing we will see you again soon. Enjoy

I don't write reviews, except when they are deserved. Our recent trip to your hotel was the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken, and this is due to the care, and attention to detail that Rahul and his team - and I mean EVERY member of the team that we came across - exude in every single interaction. You have to experience it to truly understand how personal, engaging, and professional the service levels are. Congratulations to you all for being so consistent in delivering these high standards too. Special mention must go to Sachin, our host. Nothing was too much trouble despite some tricky requests and last minute changes, and everything came with a smile. Thank you Sachin. We are already looking at dates for another visit!

Our first experience of One & Only The Palm , beautiful low-rise Moorish design and only around 90 rooms and a handful of standalone villas. We stayed in a garden view room on the ground floor, this entry level room would be a suite in some hotels, spacious and very comfortable . The property has a serene and luxurious feel, understated elegance but not stuffy in any way. Whoever is in charge of staff training / recruitment has it nailed, they’re friendly but professional and you genuinely feel valued as a guest…there’s a fine line between fawning over a guest and delivering great service, they’ve got it just right here. 3 pools, - ( inc 1 adult only smaller spa pool) we preferred the 50m ‘ family’ pool, plenty of well spaced deep cushioned sun-beds ( yay!) and pool staff keep you well hydrated with complimentary water ( in a cool box) and ice-creams, try the coconut, delicious! Guest loos are scrupulously clean. Construction- well, you’re in Dubai! No impact around the family pool, personally we kept away from the ( Safina) pool , too noisy for us but it seemed popular with some other guests. Although you’re a taxi ride away from iconic sights, the hotel provides complimentary boat transfers across to its sister hotel- Royal Mirage; handy to give you more eating choices ( discount if on HB) . We tried Tagine Terrace there, service was great but food was just average, however do try the Indian restaurant called Tresind, the butter pepper garlic prawns cooked at the table were superb together with the fish patra, that was sublime, husband recommended the vegetarian thali . …bring your appetite as portions are generous. Carpaccio starter at Zest restaurant back at O& O and saffron risotto with beef cheek were a couple of standout meals. You also have the Michelin starred French restaurant if a tasting menu(s) were a consideration. Not sure we would have HB again, little too restrictive but it suited this 5 day trip. Breakfast is well thought out with a buffet of Arabic dips, salads, smoked salmon, cheeses , fresh fruits ( yummy coconut chia pudding) pastries / breads galore and an à la carte menu worth trying together with the delicious fresh smoothie concoctions, something for all tastes… Must admit, we always compare hotels to our favourite- The Datai, it’s hard to compete and their food offerings are hard to beat…..would I recommend O & O The Palm, overall, yes….the staff are excellent, thank you for looking after us!

Amazing experience at hydro riding the efoil board! 10/10 recommend if you’re in the area. Peter at hydro was very good vibes and super helpful!
