I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Raffles The Palm Dubai. The hotel is stunning, with beautiful rooms and exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, a huge thank you to Ezekiel, Daniel, and Hussein for being so helpful and kind. The food was incredible, and we truly enjoyed the spa facilities, my daughter and I had a relaxing and memorable experience. Everything about the hotel, from the ambiance to the service, was top-notch. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return.

My husband and I had another very enjoyable stay at Raffles the Palm Dubai. We have stayed a number of times and enjoy the beach, Raffles lounge and Matagi. Husna in the lounge is so cheerful, gracious and ready to help if any issues arise. Paul was extremely attentive and helpful during evening cocktails and finally, Sheriya our butler was excellent. The only disappointment was the fact that we could not eat breakfast outside on the terrace as the chairs were wet from the overnight mist and needed to dry out which would take till until 9.30am at the earliest. At this time of year these mists are common so surely something could be done, such as covering the chairs overnight, to allow guests to sit outside in the morning as it is such a treat. I saw other guests who were equally disappointed about having to sit indoors.

Stayed at the Raffles at the Palm for four nights for a family wedding. The property is beautiful — stunning architecture and grounds — but the service was extremely disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. Maintenance: One of the sinks in our washroom wouldn't drain. We reported it, but it was never resolved during our entire stay. A basic functioning washroom shouldn't be too much to ask. Housekeeping: Despite providing a specific time window for servicing our room, housekeeping failed to arrive on time almost every day except once. For a wedding trip with a packed schedule, this was a frustrating and unnecessary inconvenience. Dry Cleaning: I sent clothes for dry cleaning, but they were simply ironed and sent back. I had to send them again with explicit instructions. They eventually adjusted the charges, but the hassle for such a basic service was absurd. Mix-Up with Belongings: My dry cleaning came back with someone else's black t-shirt. I reported it at checkout, yet I later received a call from hotel security claiming I had left a t-shirt behind — the very same one I had already flagged and returned. The lack of internal communication between departments was staggering. Late Checkout — The Worst Part: My wife is pregnant, and we requested just a two-hour late checkout so she could rest after a multi-day wedding. The front desk rudely refused, claiming the hotel was fully booked. However, I later learned from friends and family at the same wedding that they were granted late checkouts — some as late as 10 PM. So the front desk simply lied to us. Denying a pregnant woman even a modest extension while granting others late checkout until 10 PM is unacceptable and dishonest. Comparison: I am a Titanium Elite member with Marriott Bonvoy and travel frequently. During this same trip, I stayed at the JW Marriott Downtown Dubai — also a 5-star+ property. There, I was proactively upgraded, offered a 6 PM late checkout without asking, and treated with genuine warmth and professionalism. The contrast was night and day. I don't want to compare prices, but the Raffles is significantly overpriced for the service it delivers. If not for the wedding, I would have chosen The Ritz-Carlton or The St. Regis on the Palm, where I'm confident the service would have matched the price point. Bottom Line: Beautiful property, terrible service. From maintenance failures to housekeeping issues, botched dry cleaning, mishandled belongings, and a dishonest front desk — this was one of the worst luxury hotel experiences I've had. A stunning property means nothing if the service doesn't match.
