Extremely Disappointing Experience – Subpar Hygiene & Indifferent Staff We booked this hotel expecting a high-caliber experience, but unfortunately, our family holiday was severely ruined by poor hygiene and a lack of management care. The most concerning issue was cleanliness in the dining facilities. The upstairs buffet and breakfast area and club lounge had small flies, which repeatedly put us off our food and completely ruined our meals. Additionally, the public restrooms outside the pool area had an unbearable stench, and the steam room suffered from a foul odor that made the wellness facilities virtually unusable. While the team made minor efforts to address these issues during our stay, they completely failed to resolve them. What made matters worse was the indifferent attitude of the staff and a total lack of proactive communication from leadership. I had to approach management directly to raise our concerns. While they offered complimentary drinks as a goodwill gesture, this was a trivial response to fundamental hygiene and facility failures. A hotel of this supposed caliber should maintain much higher standards. Free drinks do not make up for a ruined family holiday, and we certainly will not be returning.

Beautiful hotel and the cafe in the lobby is very nice for some brunch. Anna & Faith served us and were extremely kind & hospitable, making us feel welcome and even offered us complimentary drinks & cookies after a small delay in our food! Highly recommend, 10/10 service

We have just spent 9 unforgettable nights at Raffles the palm,and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. From the moment we arrived,every member of staff made us feel incredibly welcome and truly valued. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional, and it was the genuine kindness of the team that made our stay very special. A very special thank you to Corina who helped us at check in-the whole process was effortless with professionalism,Henry,Janaka,Jane from housekeeping who greeted us by names every single day with the biggest smile. The beach and both pool areas are beautifully presented,again the comfiest of sun loungers,attentive staff especially Ana and Binod .Thank you all for an amazing stay! We were impressed!
