10/10 Day 1 experience.
I’ve never write reviews before I leave a hotel… until now. Taj Dubai is incredible. The staff customer service is world-class. We arrived to DXB late at night and took a convenient taxi straight to Taj. The doorman opened our door and handeled our bags. We were greeted at check by the manager who adorned us with beautiful traditional necklaces and introduced us to the hotel and offered us an upgraded room with a Burj Khalifa and fountain view. We entered the Royal Club King room, big enough to be a Suite! We were surprised with a fruit tray and Michelin star level gourmet dessert tray. Our bags came immediately and settled into comfy robes after a Rainfall shower with great water pressure. It was 1am and we found ourselves hungry from travel. Their late night room service menu was extensive, but what we really wanted was pizza/fries/and Mango Lassi. The food came at the exact time when they said it would…IN A HEATED CART! I don’t expect much from late night room service, but the pizza was hot and still crispy on bottom, fries fresh and tasty. After a nice rest with solid dark curtains we were greeted with a great day view bounced down for breakfast buffet. They call it a “buffet” but so many items you can order fresh from the server. THE SERVICE WAS INCREDIBLE! From walk in-to order to tea at the table in under 4 minutes. The restaurant was busy but the staff were so friendly and polished. The food was delicious and having an Indian flair was a great palate reset for the rest of our trip. We bounced out to the pool just to see it and can’t wait to dive in! 10/10 Taj Dubai is starting the trip with the bar set super high!
