The Merrion
Upper Merrion Street
Dublin 2, Ireland
Just a perfect location with lots of charm. Five minutes from St. Stephen's Green. This is an expensive stay but it is worth it especially given the price point of other Dublin hotels. The staff is wonderful especially Barry at the front desk who made my wife and I feel very welcome at 5 AM on a cold and rainy morning.

All the staff were so professional and welcoming from the door to being shown to our room by two of the girls from reception. To our surprise and delight we were upgraded and the room was fantastic we both agreed it was probably the comfiest hotel bed we'd ever slept in. The spa was fab and the pool facilities were immaculate. My advice would not to skip breakfast and order the French toast! The whole experience was definitely 5* thanks for making our stay so memorable.

Just a great experience. Superb staff, great food, and relaxing comfortable lounges. A quiet haven in the centre of the city.

The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to everything, restaurants bars and most of the sightseeing place, yet in a rather quiet street with no heavy traffic. We stayed for 8 nights at the hotel and we loved. It’s very cozy and beautiful. The garden gives you an easy access to take a fresh breath. And in winter time, there is blanket and heating in the garden. Room is spacious. We stayed at the garden wing suit. Perfect for three of us. Restaurants and bars are all very beautiful and the food and drinks are very good. Highly recommend!

Wow ! We so much enjoyed our three day stay at the Merrion. This is a place where the staff really care about you. The sense of attention to detail is amazing. The beautiful red brick hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Dublin. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel special. Our room was not ready so we had a delicious club sandwich in the bar. The wall paper, carpets and sofas are lovely. Our room was in the more modern part situated in the back. Very quiet and cozy. A huge bed. I can’t think of anything negative to say about the Merrion. We had dinner in the two hotel restaurants and they were excellent. Once we had breakfast in our room and it was great. My husband swam in the pool and loved it. I was given a Merrion bookmark, a Merrion cloth for my glasses , delicious chocolates. The bathroom is spotless and comfortable. The staff is so welcoming. We can’t wait to come back !
