Perfect location and atmosphere to explore Dublin and the surrounding by public transport or car

A very nice place to stay away from busy Dublin, very quiet, public transport and the beach near by, wonderful and helpful hosts, delicious homemade breakfast.

A beautiful respite.

Pat and Ann are so welcoming to their Lodge with great suggestions on navigating Dublin. The room was such a nice respite with comfy bed and a great shower. The breakfast room is so elegant and serves delicious food, tea, and coffee.

Unmatched hospitality

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Our stay at Aberdeen Lodge was exceptional. The hospitality is simply unmatched: on the day of our arrival, Anne welcomed us with an orientation to the area, its amenities including public transportation, and offered some suggestions for unplanned travel days. The staff in the dining room and housekeeping are exceedingly professional, warm, and welcoming. Sandymount is a wonderful - short - jaunt from the hustle and bustle of Dublin where there are fine restaurants and a local pub with Irish trad music every Wednesday night. We recommend Aberdeen Lodge without reservation.

superb spot, superb hosts!

How lucky we felt to have found this charming place! Not only is it a beautiful home, but its location in what feels like a seaside village was more than we'd hoped for on a urban trip. Pat and Ann made tourism a pleasure, with advice, bus tickets, interesting conversation, and Ann's great breakfasts. Highly recommend!

Out of downtown but close to amenities

Excellent stay. Comfy decent sized rooms. Quiet, clean, friendly, competent staff. About 100 ft from bus stop, a block and a half to the train, either or can get you anywhere you want to go. Walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shopping. Unbelievable breakfasts, large back yard with comfortable seating. Friendly pets, but they aren’t a nuisance.
