Conrad Dublin

Very disappointing for a Conrad, particularly considering the rates and the expectations that come with the brand. There were definitely some positives. The lobby was attractive, and the bars looked modern and inviting. Breakfast was included with our stay and was pretty much spot-on. There was an excellent selection with plenty of choices, everything we tried tasted good, and they even had real honeycomb—a very nice touch. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't match that standard. Our room was quite small, the service was mediocre, and we generally did not find the staff particularly friendly or welcoming. The biggest issue was the air conditioning unit, which actually poured water into our room. It was repaired, only for the exact same thing to happen again the following day. Considering this happened twice, I expected considerably more than a simple "sorry." There was no meaningful apology from management, no follow-up, and no attempt to accommodate us or acknowledge the inconvenience. The attention to cleanliness and maintenance in the common areas was also surprising. An empty Fanta can sat in the seventh-floor elevator lobby for two days and was still there when we checked out. There was also a visible spiderweb in the corner of the elevator vestibule. These may sound like small details individually, but at a hotel of this caliber they speak to a lack of attention. For a Conrad—and especially at these rates—we expected a much higher level of service, maintenance and hospitality. A nice lobby and very good breakfast couldn't overcome the other issues. Overall, very, very disappointing and nowhere near the experience we expected from the Conrad brand. location was very good and central to walking.

The Conrad Dublin was one of the nicest Hilton properties I’ve stayed at! Exceptional service, particularly from the breakfast, reception, and housekeeping teams! The room itself was stunning. Big thank you to Emma and Riley for the kind welcome note and delightful sweets. It really made me feel welcome and at home for my stay! The housekeeping team was also fantastic. I was very happy to return to my room refreshed multiple times during each day in my stay. They also did so with great care for my things. It helped me to feel refreshed. The breakfast selection is vast and was delicious. Despite a small wait in line one morning due to a very busy dining room, the staff was quick with service and the quality remained. Anna in particular was very attentive and we had a lovely conversation! I would definitely recommend this property to couples and solo travelers. Great location, rooms, and service!

Beautiful hotel. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The neighborhood was very quiet. Easy 10-20 minute walk to all of downtown Dublin's best places. We loved the walks through St. Stephen's Green everyday to get to our tours, pubs, and museums. Would definitely stay there again.
