The Fitzwilliam is an outstanding hotel...location is wonderful (close to everything), the entire team was friendly and easy to work with. We received an outstanding recommendation for a local pub that was exactly what we were looking for. Enjoyed our visit and stay!

Great hotel - Fantastic location at the heart of everything but when you turn the corner from the main street has a unique get away from it all feel . Excellent breakfast and we had a great dining experience in Glovers alley . We were late checking out due to an boat excursion that ran over but rang ahead to notify reception and it was no trouble at all - excellent

We enjoyed the Fitzwilliam very much, and we look forward to returning in the future. The location is excellent. It's about 25 minutes from the airport, and Grafton St. is around the corner. I enjoyed early morning walks in St. Stephen's Green, a beautiful park right across the street. Our room was very comfortable and included a full-sized couch. The windows opened to let in fresh air, and the bathroom was a comfortable size. The service was wonderful, and everything was very clean. Can't wait to come back!

This hotel is in an excellent location, with the park and grafton street just out the door. But the interior, although I heard was recently renovated, was just average and the style seemed dated. There was no sense of ‘place’ at this hotel either with the first floor bar feeling like a jazz lounge? We upgraded ourselves to what we thought was a top tier room which was only on the third floor and seemed just slightly bigger than the regular rooms (another person in our party had a regular room so we could compare). The biggest head scratcher was sharing the elevator w a hotel staffer who was escorting another couple to their room… we punched our floor number and as he used a key to access a different floor, he announced to all of us that ‘all the VIPS stay on the 6th floor’. What a strange thing to say in that moment…. Especially after paying what seemed like VIP prices! The last time we were in Dublin we stayed at the Westbury for the same amount of money. And it was worth every penny- The fitzwilliam just doesn’t feel as special for the same cost. Next time we’ll return to the westbury instead. On a positive - the breakfast was delicious.

The friendliness of the staff made our stay even more memorable. The location is an ideal one because of its proximity to the prime sites.
