The Shelbourne, Autograph Collection

The initial impression was great. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Rooms and hotel needs a haul. Yes it’s iconic but the details are very rustic and worn. When I realized my kindle was gone after we checked out-they were not helpful at all. I was treated like an inconvenience. I emailed them 4 times with no response and after my husband called-they decided to answer. Their staff stole it as it was on the bench in my bag in the room and it was deactivated the day before we checked out. We have proof of this and they still chose to not replace it. It’s not about the money -it’s about feeling violated at an overpriced, dirty and outdated hotel.

I enjoyed Shelbourne Hotel, 3 course dinner was excellent, Afternoon tea was excellent, my bed room is clean and top notch. The entire staff in Shelbourne were friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you Shelbourne Hotel staff. I will come back. Yours Hugh McDonough

What a lovely historical hotel! We enjoyed the afternoon tea at The Lord Mayor's Lounge! Excellent service overall! A thank you to Maeve McDonald for a tour of the hotel including the Constitution Room to view the signed document that established the Irish Republic. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed The location was perfect for walking, shopping, dining, and visiting St. Stephen's Green Park and other sites like Trinity College. Thank you so much CIE Tours for choosing such a wonderful accomodations for us!

Excellent staff, food and location

“The Shelbourne hotel and staff were the shining star of our journey to Ireland. We will always remember the magical moments we experienced, from the welcoming staff to the surprises discovered inside this iconic building to the beautiful location. Food, the unbelievable tea experience. No words to describe this hotel. If you are going to get a room, we recommend a suite simply for the service, but honestly, get any room. It won't disappoint. The entire experience from everyone on the staff was filled with Sooo much love, Sooo beyond our highest expectations. Everyone deserves to have a little Shelbourne if they come to this grand emerald city. Truly, this place is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.”
