We had a wonderful event and nights stay at the Shelbourne this December. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Thank you team!

Our stay was quite frankly, perfect. The hotel is perfectly located and is clearly the center of holiday festivities in Dublin. It is festive from top to bottom, and is magnet for locals and tourists to gather for excellent food and drink. The staff, beginning with Pat at the front door, is warm and welcoming at all times. The rooms are lovely and well serviced twice a day. Shane and others welcome you for a hearty breakfast buffet each morning in the Saddle Lounge. The Horseshoe Bar is legendary for great cocktails, and conversation. Josip is an excellent bartender with a dry wit and helpful tips on local attractions. For residents only, the 1824 bar is one of the finest cocktail bars we have experienced in Dublin or anywhere. The bartenders, Tom and Karan, were fabulous and entertained us nightly. The Lord Mayor’s Lounge hosts several tea services each day. We chose the champagne event in early evening which was beautiful and ample for dinner and dessert. It was fun to see so many local families gathering there to celebrate the season. The Shelbourne showcases its remarkable history in many ways. The staff is also deeply committed to telling this story and clearly enjoy being part of the remarkable legacy.”

Whenever we are in Dublin, we always stay at the Shelbourne and are never disappointed. The Shelbourne is a magical experience. The hotel is gorgeous from top to bottom. The dining is excellent, the bars are sublime, and the staff are amazing. The Shelbourne feels very much as the place be in Dublin, the two main bars are always packed, but in a 1920s see and be seen kind of way, not the fighting to get a drink in temple bar kind of way. 1824, which is the guests only lounge is the bar/library I would build in my stately manor, if I had one. It is simply my favorite bar in the world.

A lovely historic hotel that is very centrally located. We had a room facing St. Stephen's Green and it was comfortably sized and recently refurbished. The bathroom was spacious and had one of the best showers I have used in a long time. The staff was friendly and helpful--we arrived well before check in time, but they were able to get us a room promptly. They arranged for a delightful literary walking tour (thank you Liam). There are three bars on site, including a very quiet whiskey bar for hotel guests only that we particularly enjoyed.
