Perfect location, 5 star staff
Family of four with two teen boys- great location the boys could explore on their own. Clean and comfortable rooms with a fair size. Service is what really makes it 5 stars! Wonderful staff.

No room facing front of hotel
Lovely hotel. Just 2 things to be VERY aware of. 1. A classic king is the size of a postage stamp. Almost impossible for 2 people to share this room. And 2 nd and most important, the rooms that face the street at the front of the hotel are so noisy you will not sleep. The noise and loud music from the 2 pubs within 25 feet of the hotels front door don’t stop till 3:30 am. We literally didn’t sleep a wink each night until after 3:30 am. Unless they guarantee you a room that does not face Balthe Street, you will be miserable.

Wonderful but noisy!
Food and service were wonderful. Only downside was it was very loud, making it somewhat difficult to carry on a conversation. Our waiter, Miguel, was fabulous!

Excellent hotel in the heart of Dublin
Absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of Dublin. The location is excellent and in walking distance to most major sites. Top of the line restaurants onsite and plenty within walking distance. The staff and service are top notch. We will be back. John & Sandy

Amazing stay (just not during a heat wave!)
Really great location, lobby, rooms, breakfast buffet. Very comfortable and elegant hotel. The nicest place we stayed on the whole trip. They provided a little tent for our kids and a kid welcome gift. They were so thrilled and it made the end of the trip really special. Five star experience all the way, and 99% of the time the AC wouldn't be an issue, but ... we stayed during a heat wave and the AC was way under-powered. Two caveats: we had a larger family type room (a lot more space to cool) and we're American and are used to ice-cold AC. The first night we had no cold air at all and arrived too late for maintenance help. The second day maintenance came and Jose Della Rosa figured out there was tons of dust clogging the fans. He cleaned it out and coaxed it back to working (thank you!). The next morning it was back to blowing warm air. He came by again, reset the unit on the roof (thank you again!) and it worked a little bit. Then it broke that evening. I called guest services and told them the AC was fully broken and never got a call back. We toughed it out, which I didn't expect to have to do in a hotel of this caliber (also black-out curtains block any air flow from open windows, so that wasn't a great solution).
