Reviews for The Westbury Dublin

Afternoon tea at the Westbury.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The Westbury has thd best afternon tea in Dublin. I went on Saturday to my mother's 80th birthday sho didn't want a fuss and was disapoointed not to be able to wesr her new summer dress dud to the weather. From thd moment we stepped in we were trested like royalty. Nothing over the top or cloying insincere. Staff were efficient and attentive and my mother felt spoilt. We had far too much food which we had to doggie bag. Sandwiches were fabulous and my daughter asked for adjustments as she foesn't like egg. Scones were amazing. Each if the five desserts were perfect. Our main server Simone was such a gent and made sure we all enjoying ourselves.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. In particular, Mirko went above and beyond to assist us with a late check-out, making a great effort to accommodate our request.

The Best In Dublin.

Had the best stay at The Westbury. Amazing location , walking distance to all the shops , St Stephen’s Green and the other attractions. What made our stay was the kindness and friendliness of the team at hotel . Room was not ready on arrival - sat us in the lounge gave us a drink and in 30 mins room was ready. Breakfast was a treat , good variety and so delicious. Will return.

Excellent courteous service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

I went out for lunch followed by drinks with a group of friends....two of our group have mobility issues and we were well looked after. I have major difficulties walking currently and I rang ahead and the staff could not have been more helpful. The concierge ( Mathius) was an absolute gentleman as was his colleague...they met me at the door and valet parked my car and brought it back when I was leaving...I was so impressed with the courteous manner in which I was treated and it made such a difference to my day....I was panicking how I would be able to try and park nearby and they removed all the worry and made my day out so much more pleasant.... That aside, we had a lovely brunch and then drinks and nibbles and thoroughly enjoyed our day. The staff are so obliging and it's a goergous hotel. I'd highly recommend it. Thanks for looking after me so well

Shocking experience!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Honestly my experience in visiting this hotel was absolutely disgraceful. Myself and my partner went to go into the Westbury today to sit down and have a coffee with our newborn baby. The concierge informed us that it was going to be a problem bringing the baby into the restaurant area and he would have to inform his manager. I’ve never experienced this before in my life and we spend every getaway at the best of hotels in Ireland. It’s safe to say I won’t be returning to this establishment.
