Excellent location and caring staff

We spent a week here and left thoroughly happy. The location is excellent, and the food was consistently very good — breakfast was a highlight every morning. Special thanks to Revindra and Dijana that went well beyond what’s expected and made our stay memorable. Highly recommended, and we hope to return soon.

My wife and I stayed at the Rixos for a week in early September. The hotel is situated a short Uber ride from Dubrovnik’s Old Town and has all of the amenities that can be expected at a luxury resort. There is a spa, multiple pools, a private beach, several upscale restaurants and two bars that feature nightly musical entertainment. The rooms also have awesome views of the Adriatic. Our suite was spacious and featured a wrap around terrace. We were also assigned a butler, which is a standard feature for suites. Alexa, our butler, greeted us when we checked in and helped us to settle into our rooms. She was very responsive to our needs and was available by text from very early in the morning to late in the evening. Among other things, she made dining and spa reservations for us and provided insightful sightseeing recommendations and tips for navigating through the hotel and the town. Since we had a very full tour schedule, including several boarder crossings, we had to update our dinner plans frequently and relied on Alexa to make the necessary arrangements. She was also our contact person for any requests we had regarding the suite. The Rixos is not a budget property but it was well worth the money and we always felt well looked after, especially by Alexa.

Fantastic holiday. The views from the hotel are fabulous, the food is excellent and the staff are very professional, helpful and super friendly. Spent a lot of time in the lobby bar where the views and service was excellent. Special thanks to Sofia and her colleagues for making us feel so welcome and special.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rixos. The hotel is beautifully maintained. The staff are attentive and polite, especially Sofia in the Lobby Bar who served us amazingly well every evening. The pool facilities are classy, and the hotel enjoys stunning views, day and night, and is within walking distance of the old town. We could not fault it at all. 5*
