Lovely hotel in the heart of Durham. Hotel was clean and comfortable. We were there for a family wedding and had a very nice stay.

I saw Brandon for a 90 min massage and he was incredible. I've had many massages and he was absolutely the best. He was professional, accommodating, deliberate in his technique, and made sure to set the tone with a calm and relaxing environment. I look forward for my next trip back and will be booking again.

The 21c Museum Hotel will definitely be my go to spot when I’m in Durham. I walked to the guest check-in and was instantly mesmerized by the art! The room was curated so beautifully that I forgot I was actually supposed to check in. Hamid greeted me with the best energy and really set the tone for the warmness I would experience with the rest of the staff. My room was super clean and I loved the way the room was decorated. The catered food was spot on and Sarah was so attentive to our company’s needs. Even the gentlemen at Valet were amazing! The hotel is in walking distance of the Amtrak station and the view from my room was stellar. I look forward to visiting Durham again just to stay at 21c Museum Hotel.

My wife and I stayed here because of good reviews, convenient location, and a reasonable price. The staff we came in contact with were friendly... the room was clean. However, several issues made the stay less than memorable. We entered our room and found the temperature at 79 degrees - though the thermostat was set as low as it could be at 65. Also, the main sitting area was very dark - not helped by the fact that the chain-driven blind was stuck in a way that prevented opening. I contacted the front desk and, to the hotel's credit, a maintenance person came within 10 minutes. She worked with the blind enough to open it up about 2/3 of the way, allowing light to enter. It still couldn't be adjusted, but that was OK with us... we had some light. She also called someone in the building regarding the heat in the room, and he made some kind of computer adjustment & we were told that the AC would now work. We left for a concert and returned late.... there was no improvement in the room's temperature. It never got below 76 degrees during our stay. We were in no mood to ask for a change of room by that late hour... Maintenance in general in the room was not up to a high standard. There was a cracked window pane, the panel surrounding one light switch outlet next to the bed simply fell off if touched, and both shower heads had leaks at their bases. So.... my overall impression was not positive. I wouldn't choose the 21C next time.

I am currently staying in the hotel in room no. 120*. I have paid 190$ per night for my stay. It is very very disappointing to flag this issue that even after repeatedly reminding the front desk 3 times in a day, my room was still not cleaned. The first time I requested for my room to be cleaned at 10:45 am, then at 2:30pm & then again 5:10pm. All the 3 times I was told by the staff at the front desk that my room cleaning is in queue with the house keeping staff, they staff first cleans the new check in rooms and then they will clean the room of the existing guests. At 5:10pm when I asked about the update on the room I was told by Josh that Claudia (housekeeping staff) has left for the day and he will see what he can do to fix it. I returned at 10:00 pm to my room to a shock that my room was still not cleaned. I have travelled world around and have never seen such service. Housekeeping staff cleaning the rooom daily is basic for a room for which you are paying so much. Very Very disappointed with the whole experiece and makes me question my memebership with ACCOR.
