Perfectly located high-end hideaway
The hotel acts like a private club as only residents are allowed to utilize the spaces. There is only one common area yet it’s beautifully appointed and very comfortable with excellent views of the Castle. The rooms was comfortable for being a double, though small with the bed being smaller still. The menu offerings are limited yet the quality of the food is good. The service throughout the hotel is superb and extremely attentive, from Housekeeping to Reception to Concierge to Dining staff. The wine/bar steward is extremely knowledgeable and ready to showcase their whiskey collection. Finally, the location could not be better as you have the proximity of George Street, Princes Street and the Royal Mile without all the gimmick and tourist laden hotels on or off High Street. Also the tram is a half block away and extremely good.

Perfect place to stay in Edinburgh!
Gorgeous interiors that reminded you with every turn that you were in Scotland. Even better were the staff who anticipated your needs and could not do enough for you.

Quaint Luxury in the heart of Edinburgh!
Truly special hotel! Greeted with friendly and attentive service upon early arrival after a long flight. Check-in process was very easy and was able to get a very early room check-in which was very impressive and greatly appreciated. The location of the property is amazing - right in the heart of the city with tremendous views of the Castle. The Wallace, which serves as lounge, restaurant and bar was amazing - the breakfast was spectacular and views of the Castle and calming, quiet aroma made it welcoming at any point during the day. Comfortable room with great bedding and amenities, heated floors and towel rack in bathroom. Always clean and serviced when needed and staff is attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend 100 Princes to any traveler visiting this great city. A truly elevated experience.

This was an outstanding experience. The staff could not have been morel lovely & helpful! The views of the castle from breakfast were an amazing plus!

Impeccable Service!
Hands down the best hotel staff we have ever encountered. Beautiful historic building, immaculately maintained and furnished. Be aware that the standard rooms are small, so don't expect a spacious room. But the experience more than made up for it in our opinion.
