Fantastic hotel! Staff are always willing to assist with a smile. The positive energy starting with breakfast starts the day. Can’t beat castle view while eating. If you get a chance try the chocolate cake and smoothies.

The decor is unique, of the highest quality and quintessentially Scottish. The rooms and lounges were cozy with fabulous views of Old Edinburgh. The food was excellent. Relatively small with an intimate boutique feel coupled with service from an excellent friendly staff. Professional and very well trained. A pleasure to be with. I highly recommend and look forward to returning one day.

When we arrived it would have been very helpful to mention that there is no parking possibility in front of your hotel. Yes it‘s a city hotel and usually the guests comme with public transport. We checked in and went out to the city, lovely charming city of course. Comming back to our room we were really dissapointent about the size. Yes we saw the squaremeters at the reservation but as the room was filled with furniture and had as well a sloping roof we basically had to climb to the bed. In my opinnion its not fair to rent out such small room. As we mentioned we‘re regulars in the 41 in London and we‘re used to smaller rooms. But its also impossible to store any toilleteries inside the bath. Also the castle view was from a small dirty window possible only. The windows werent helpfull against the noise from the street so we didnt catch alot of sleep. We then head out to the breakfast where we missed suitable chairs and table to eat in a good manner there were only sofas. We then had a nice chat with michael and were able to switch to a room for dissabled people. We had a good sleep and it was without view but way more quiet. When we checked out i saw that there was an extra charge for sparkling water for breakfast which i didnt understand but just saw it after check out. Overall for the asked price in comparison to other hotels in edinburgh and to other hotels all over the world as well as your sister hotel in london makes it impossible to recommend this hotel at any. Further more we payed twice GBP 80.00 for the Valet and receiced the car totally dirty covered in dust from the construction side. We had to wash the car first. The people were really the positiv positiv thing in the hotel. We sent this Feedback as well via E-Mail to Laura on the 09.07.2025 but didnt get and feedback so far.

From lively greetings in the morning to fun conversations at happy hour, the staff at 100 Princes Street made me feel very welcome. The hotel is well-decorated, the food is delicious, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, the views are spectacular, and the staff is immensely helpful. They overlooked nothing. I'm looking forward to my next stay!
