Important - The Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh – The Caledonian has recently been renamed to The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton. This is a classic hotel in central Edinburgh, very convenient to Edinburgh castle and the Royal Mile. Convenient to the airport bus with a drop off less than a half mile away, The Caledonian is also close to the city tram system. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and didn’t feel too stuffy for a premium level hotel. Front desk, door, and housekeeping staff were all professional and helpful. Hotel has a pool and hot tub which were nice to use after days of walking around Edinburgh. Bar seems fun but we didn’t partake. Less than a mile walk to the castle and Royal Mile. A bit of a splurge for us but this is a really nice hotel with a good city location.

We are staying at the Caledonian and we have had a lovely experience. The rooms are amazing: spacious, clean, comfortable with amenities. The service is superb from Isaac at the front desk to James Veitch and Louise Carmichael in the dining area. They have made pour stay incredible, and we would definitely come back.

We were passing by the Caledonian Hotel and, on the off chance, asked whether it might be possible to have a look around. We were warmly welcomed by a most charming and impeccably dressed gentleman in traditional Scottish regalia at the front entrance, who introduced himself as Dean. Dean went out of his way to make us feel welcome, taking the time to show us the hotel's restaurants and sharing some fascinating history about the building. His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine hospitality made our visit a memorable one. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dean for his kindness and for taking the time to accommodate us. He is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel and a credit to your team.
