About the Hotel
Overlooking one of Edinburgh's prettiest private garden squares, Kimpton Charlotte Square consists of seven interconnecting Georgian townhouses in the heart of the New Town. Our beautifully formed bedrooms and suites are inspired by the golden age of travel and a genuine sense of Scottish hospitality. Sitting proudly in the middle of the hotel is The Garden bar and restaurant, an oasis of calm in the centre of the city. Light and bright during the day for breakfast and lunch, transforming in to a fairy lit hideaway in the evening for cocktails and dinner. Sample our Twilight Tea, a unique take on the classic afternoon tea with a focus on savoury flavours from 12pm to 10pm every day. BABA restaurant is a sumptuous, relaxed journey to the Levant, featuring mezze, charcoal dishes and small plates with bold Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours perfect for sharing. Cocktails take on the adventurous flavours to continue the journey until late in the BABA bar.

Love this gym - very well maintained. Big shout out to Jordan and Ricky, very knowledgeable and friendly. They've both helped me stay consistent and enjoy training at the Kimpton.

Great location & ticks all boxes
Always a good stay. Location, dining, & staff are great. Room was in new section so it was larger than last time we stayed in older section. Atrium in centre of hotel offers terrific lounge areas … breakfast is good & its just a wonderful experience.

Wonderful staff
The staff at this hotel is amazing from the minute you drive up to drop off your car with Destiny, Tre and Cardl To the Front Desk where you were greeted with five star hospitality, and then dinner at the Italian restaurant sitting at the bar with the wonderful bartenders. The hotel is clean and well kept and the food at the restaurant was fabulous. And a big plus you can bring your dogs! Just a great experience highly recommend.

Enjoyable
Enjoyed our two nights stay at the Kimpton. Good location just a short walk to the centre. Staff were really helpful and attentive. Premium Room was comfortable but a little dark. Buffet breakfast was good and also a choice from the menu including Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royal. Good idea of a social hour but limited choice of drinks. Would be better with more choice.good place to stop for Edinburgh Fringe but more expensive at this time of year.
