Spent a two night stay for my birthday The hotel is superb 5star bed room and facilities. Excellent restaurant serving exceptional food Two Menus Bar and Restaurant Excellent bar and superb wine list All the staff give 5* service Callum and Michael along with F and B staff give exceptional service in the restaurant The whole experience from checking in (reception team *****) was superb Location of hotel great 5mins from tram park and ride and on edge of motorway network Airport 5 mins by car Will be returning for a longer stay Thank-you to everybody

September 2025 Niece's memorable Scottish Wedding ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: I had the privilege of being invited to my niece's wedding reception at Norton House located in Ingliston just half hour drive from Edinburgh , what a unique country Victorian Style Mansion fantastic back drop of the extravagant properties around and beautiful open massive field so peaceful not crowded at all , it is Alice Wonder Land place for Wedding's ! spacious ballroom with dance floor excellent set up and the Foods and beverage excellent very luxurious , perfect menu for Wedding , staff very hospitable and professional ! happy to say every one love every seconds of it , the wedding and the receptions , I been to lot of Wedding around the word , This one in Scotland truly above all ! very different from Scottish Wedding to Asian Wedding also Vegas Wedding ! very unique with the Piper Wedding Walk and the Kilts ! the groom and their groomsmen must worth Kilts ! incredible memorable experience will last my rest of my life , just Bloody marvelous !

A lovely hotel , just minutes from Edinburgh airport. The grounds are beautiful with a peaceful atmosphere. We were there for just a minute and not able to experience the spa or restaurant .

My husband and I, along with my young adult daughter, just got back from staying here. We found the staff to be very friendly (always smiling even when working long hours) and courteous, the food was amazing, rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the amenities exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend the Norton House Hotel & Spa and would go back if we ever venture to Scotland again!

We decided to eat out and called 'The Norton' to book a table for Dinner, however to our disgust and amazement, were told in no uncertain terms "as you are non residents, we are too busy to serve you". Why couldn't they just say 'sorry, we are fully booked up'? It's clear The Norton have very little respect or care for their customers, unless, you are extremely wealthy and willing to excessively spend. We do know (from family who work at this Hotel) that The Norton are actively pushing towards altering its demographic to a 'high end' only customer base, in essence, one who will spend excessively.... I'm afraid this attitude is not acceptable and quite frankly will be raised at a more senior level with Hand Picked Hotels !
