The Roseate Edinburgh

I stayed for my first solo trip and it was amazing. The staff were all so nice especially Alex who was lovely. The room was very aesthetic + cosy and the bed was so comfy. The 12 o’clock check out allowed for a relaxing morning. Cocktails and breakfast were tasty too. Overall 10/10 recommend! x

Our stay at the Roseate was very comfortable. We got upgraded and the staff were so caring - especially Zoltan, who provided us with the best tips for the city and good food. If you're looking for a romantic, small and calm hideaway after being busy exploring the city all day, the hotel is perfect. The hotel is well connected by bus and tram.

Amazing stay at the Rosatte. Priesh hotel manager and every single one of the staff team went above and beyond for us. Breakfast was lovely, as was the homemade shortbread in our room. The room was spotless and beautiful. Location was fab. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cosy yet luxurious stay. We were also lucky enough to have our check out pushed back complimentary on the Rosatte due to our late flight. Really lovely service

We had the absolute pleasure of spending four nights at The Roseate Edinburgh, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We stayed in the Roseate Suite, which was simply breathtaking—beautifully designed, spacious, and full of character. The attention to detail, comfort, and elegance made it feel truly special, and it perfectly reflects the charm of the hotel itself. The architecture of the building is stunning, blending classic beauty with refined luxury. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated and full of history, yet warm and welcoming. What truly elevates The Roseate, however, is the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Everyone made us feel genuinely cared for, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A special and very heartfelt thank you to Alexander—an incredible host and a wonderful person. Over the course of four days, he didn’t just make us feel welcome; he made us feel at home, and by the end, we had truly become friends. His recommendations for the city and its hidden gems were spot on and made our Edinburgh experience even more memorable. Thank you, Alexander, for your warmth, your stories, and your passion for this beautiful city. We also thoroughly enjoyed the whiskies we drank at the hotel—an excellent selection and the perfect way to end our evenings. The Roseate Edinburgh is a place with soul, elegance, and heart. We cannot recommend it highly enough and are already looking forward to returning.

Whenever I stay at a hotel, be it for business or pleasure, I look for service and attention to detail above all else. My experience at The Roseate was beyond fault from start to finish. Much of the credit for this success belongs to Alexander, the concierge. His interpersonal skills are exceptional, and if I were still running a business, I would steal him tomorrow!
